OFFICIAL RULES
Uber Technologies, Inc. (“Uber” or “Sponsor“) is sponsoring the “Uber Pickup More Points Sweepstakes” (the “Sweepstakes“). The Sweepstakes is subject to these official rules (the “Official Rules“), and by participating, you (“Entrant“) agree to be bound by them and the decisions of Uber, which are final and binding in all respects.
NO PURCHASE OR RIDE WITH UBER IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN A PRIZE. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ODDS OF WINNING WILL DEPEND ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
- Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal U.S. residents residing within Uber’s service market areas located within the fifty (50) United States (including the District of Columbia) who have an active, valid Uber account in good standing, that remains active throughout the Sweepstakes Period (as defined below); who are also [i] members of Marriott Bonvoy™, the loyalty program of Marriott Internationals, Inc. and Marriott Rewards LLC. (together, “Marriott”)** who have an active Marriott Bonvoy™ Account as defined in the Marriott Bonvoy™ Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions; [ii] have NOT linked their Uber Account and their Marriott Bonvoy™ Account as of the Sweepstakes start date of November 10, 2025; and (iii) are 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is older). Employees, officers and representatives, and the immediate family members of such employees, officers and representatives (i.e., parent, spouse, siblings, children, grandparents, step parents, step children and step siblings, and their respective spouses, and those living in the same household, whether or not related) of Uber, Marriott, or their affiliated companies, parent companies, subsidiaries, participating promotional partners (including but not limited Marriott’s promotional partners in the Marriott Bonvoy™ Program), advertising and promotion agencies, webmasters and any company involved in the creation, design, execution, production, or fulfillment of the Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities“) are not eligible to enter. Additionally, individuals who are employed by any local, state or federal government office or agency, elected officials and individuals listed on the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List are not eligible to enter or win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local rules, laws, and regulations. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
**Enrollment in Marriott Bonvoy™ is free; you may enroll at https://www.marriott.com/loyalty/member-benefits/member.mi. For clarity, [i] all membership levels of the Marriott Bonvoy™ are eligible for the Sweepstakes and [ii] Marriott Bonvoy™ members who are NOT United States residents are NOT eligible for the Sweepstakes.
- Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins at 09:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on November 10, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on November 24, 2025 (the “Sweepstakes Period“). Uber’s computer is the official timekeeping device for entry in the Sweepstakes.
- How To Enter: During the Sweepstakes Period, there are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes:
- Method #1 – Take an Uber Trip: To enter the Sweepstakes by this method, an Uber account is required. An Uber account can be obtained at no cost at https://www.uber.com/ or by downloading the app from the appropriate app store. Sweepstakes entry through this method shall be received if a ride is requested and successfully completed on the Uber app (as outlined below).
- Before taking a qualifying Premium Ride (defined below) or trip on the Uber platform, open the Uber app and link your Uber Account with your Marriott Bonvoy™ Loyalty Program (“Marriott Bonvoy“) account. Must agree to the Marriott Uber Loyalty terms at https://www.uber.com/us/en/u/marriott-bonvoy/ (“Program Terms”) to link accounts.
- Once linked, select Marriott Bonvoy as your “Earning Partner.”
- Request a Premium Ride and take an Eligible Trip (as defined below) to receive an entry into the Sweepstakes. A “Premium Ride” is a ride taken with Uber Black, Uber XL, Uber SUV, and Uber Comfort and must occur in the United States. In order to receive an entry via this method, a Premium trip as defined in the Program Terms must have been successfully completed on the Uber platform during the Sweepstakes Period. A trip is successfully completed when a passenger arrives at their location (canceled trips are not eligible) within the eligible area (i.e., fifty [50] United States/Washington D.C. during the Sweepstakes Period (an “Eligible Trip“). (The length of the trip will not affect one’s ability to enter the Sweepstakes provided that it has been successfully completed). To be entered for a chance to win a prize (“Prize“), the trip must have been successfully completed during the Sweepstakes Period. Upon completion of an Eligible Trip, you will automatically receive one (1) entry (“Entry“) into the Sweepstakes. If multiple Uber trips are taken using the same Uber account, only one (1) Entry will be provided.
MARRIOTT BONVOY™ BONUS POINTS WITH ENTRY: Follow the steps to complete a Ride Entry as directed above. Eligible Entrants (as determined by Sponsor/Administrator in their sole discretion) who enter the Sweepstakes prior to November 24, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET (i.e., the end of the Sweepstakes Period) will receive one thousand (1,000) Marriott Bonvoy™ Bonus Points (“Bonus Points“) as part of the Marriott Bonvoy – Uber® Loyalty Initiative (subject to all Marriott Bonvoy™ Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions, including without limitation Section 2.10.f ). For clarity, Bonus Points with Entry are NOT a prize in the Sweepstakes. Please allow up to six (6) weeks from date of Sweepstakes Entry for Bonus Points to be reflected in Marriott Bonvoy™ Account (assuming Sponsor/Administrator validates entry).
- Method #2 – Free Alternate Method of Entry (“Mail-In“): To enter the Sweepstakes without linking your Uber Account and your Marriott Bonvoy™ Account and then taking an Uber Trip , individuals who are eligible as per above may send a 3” x 5” card with their name, email address (REQUIRED), the last three (3) digits of your Marriott Bonvoy™ member number (REQUIRED; if you are not yet a Marriott Bonvoy™ member, you can sign up for free as outlined above) and daytime phone number,r and mail in a business size (#10) envelope to: Uber Pickup More Points Sweepstakes Entry, P.O. Box 1559, Social Circle, GA 30025-1559. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by November 24, 2025 and received by December 3, 2025 to be eligible for the drawing. To be eligible, Mail-In Entries must be postmarked from an address in the fifty (50) U.S. or District of Columbia. All Mail-Ins must be handwritten. Mechanical reproductions will not be accepted. Proof of sending or mailing an Entry will not be deemed to be proof of Entry or proof of receipt by Sponsor or Administrator. Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, delayed, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, misdirected or postage-due Mail-In Entries, all of which will be disqualified. Receipt of Mail-In Entries will not be acknowledged. Mail-In Entries become Sponsor’s property and will not be returned. For clarity, no Bonus Points With Entry will be awarded in conjunction with submission of eligible Mail-In Entry.
Eligible Trip Entry and Mail-In Entry may be collectively referred to herein as “Entry” or “Entries.”
Limit of one (1) Entry per person during the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of method of entry. Any entries that result from or are associated with unlawful behavior will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. Uber/Administrator in their sole discretion will decide whether a given Entry satisfies the criteria for entry in the Sweepstakes. Any attempt by any Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Entries by using multiple/different email addresses, accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that Entrant’s entries and that Entrant may be disqualified. Such actions may also result in the loss of access to the Uber Marketplace Platform and possibly adversely affect their membership in the Marriott Bonvoy™ program. In addition, if an Entrant is determined to have engaged in such conduct and entered via Uber Trip, Marriott reserves the right to revoke Bonus Points awarded in conjunction with such Entry. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
In the event of a dispute as to any Entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Uber account used for Entry, will be deemed to be the Entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the entry. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Uber/Administrator will make the final determination of identity of Entrants in their sole discretion. All entries submitted in compliance with these Official Rules and not disqualified or void are considered “Eligible Entries.” All entries are the property of Uber and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Message and data rates may apply to use of mobile device for entry. Be sure to check your wireless carrier’s pricing plan before participating. Wireless internet access may not be available in all areas.
By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrant: (a) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the interpretation of these Official Rules by Uber and by the decisions of Uber, which are final and binding in all respects; (b) acknowledges compliance with these Official Rules; and (c) agrees to comply with any and all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in these Official Rules.
- Prizes and Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”):
THREE (3) PRIZES (each a “Prize“) are available to be won. Each Winner (as defined in Section 7) will receive one million (1,000,000) Marriott Bonvoy Bonus Points which are subject to the Marriott Bonvoy™ Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions (available at https://www.marriott.com/loyalty/terms/default.mi). Winner must have an active Marriott Bonvoy™ Account at time of Entry and at time of Prize award in order to receive Prize. Prize(s) will be provided to Winner(s) within six (6) weeks of confirmation. ARV of each PRIZE: $12,500.
Total ARV of all Prizes: $37,500.
Limit: One (1) Prize per person/household. No cash equivalent available and prize is non-transferable (except as expressly allowed in the Marriott Bonvoy™ Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions) and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at Uber’s and/or Marriott’s discretion. Prize award details shall be provided upon awarding of the Prize by Uber or their designee.
- Random Drawing/Selection Of Winners/Odds: Potential winners will be randomly selected from among all Eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period on or about December 4, 2025. Random drawing will be conducted by Administrator, an independent judging organization/administrator whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the Sweepstakes.
Odds of winning depend on the number of Eligible Entries received.
- Winner Verification: Potential winners will be notified by Sponsor via e-mail and/or phone using the e-mail address/phone number currently on file with Sponsor for the corresponding Uber account/Entry (each a “Notification“) on or about December 4, 2025. Each potential winner will be required to complete, sign and return within five (5) business days of date on Notification, an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and Indemnification/Publicity Release where allowed by law, as well as other documents that Sponsor may require (collectively the “Prize Claim Documents“). If a potential Prize winner does not return all Prize Claim Documents to Administrator within the specified time period, if prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, if potential Prize winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if potential winner does not accept the Prize for any reason, Prize will be forfeited and potential Prize winner will be disqualified. Sponsor and Sweepstakes Entities disclaim any liability due to Notification not being timely received (or received at all) by potential winner regardless of cause. If Notification is undeliverable after two (2) attempts, potential winner may be disqualified in the sole discretion of Sponsor/Administrator. If potential winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if potential winner does not accept the Prize for any reason, Prize will be forfeited, and potential winner will be disqualified. If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, an alternate potential winner will be selected from among all remaining eligible entries received.
Provided that the potential winner is in compliance with the Official Rules and after having successfully proven eligibility, they will be officially confirmed as a winner (“Winner“). By entering or accepting the Prize, Winner allows Uber and their designees (including Marriott) to use the Winner’s entry, name, photograph, likeness, voice, opinions, Prize information, biographical information, hometown and state for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation or notice where permitted by law.
Uber expressly reserves the right to delay the announcement of Winner(s) for any reason it deems necessary. Additionally, Uber and the Sweepstakes Entities reserve the right to make a public announcement, announcing the Winner(s) on either the Uber website or through the Uber app, the Marriott Bonvoy website or through the app, or in any manner (including, without limitation, their social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram or X [formerly Twitter]) etc.) which they deem appropriate.
- Conditions of Participation: By submitting an Entry for this Sweepstakes, you agree to abide by these rules and any decision Uber and/or Administrator makes regarding this Sweepstakes, in their sole discretion. Uber reserves the right to disqualify and prosecute to the fullest extent permitted by law any entrant or Winner who, in Uber’s reasonable suspicion, tampers with Uber or any Uber partner site, the entry process, intentionally submits more than a single entry , violates these rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Such actions may also result in the loss of access to the Uber Marketplace Platform. Should such actions involve an entrant’s or Winner’s Marriott Bonvoy™ Account, Marriott may terminate the relevant Marriott Bonvoy™ Account and/or take other actions to protect its legal rights, with all such actions by Marriott being in addition to those taken by Uber. Uber or their designee may fulfill the Prize to the Winner, and Uber may share Winner’s information with a third party for Prize fulfillment purposes. Uber’s/Administrator’s failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules in a given instance is NOT a waiver of such provision.
- Disclaimer, Release and Limit of Liability: NEITHER UBER NOR MARRIOTT MAKES ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE PRIZE OR YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES. BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES OR RECEIPT OF THE PRIZE, EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO WAIVE ALL CLAIMS AGAINST, AND DEFEND, INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES, AND EACH OF THEIR SUBSIDIARIES, DIRECT AND INDIRECT AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS, DISTRIBUTORS, ADVERTISING/SWEEPSTAKES AGENCIES, AND PRIZE SUPPLIERS, AND EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENT COMPANIES AND EACH SUCH COMPANY’S OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS, AS WELL AS META PLATFORMS, INC. AND X CORP. (COLLECTIVELY, THE “RELEASED PARTIES“) FROM AND AGAINST ANY CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, NEGLIGENCE, GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER TORTIOUS CONDUCT, DEATH, OR DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF PROPERTY, ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES OR RECEIPT OR USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE. THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR: (1) ANY INCORRECT OR INACCURATE INFORMATION, WHETHER CAUSED BY ENTRANTS, PRINTING ERRORS OR BY ANY OF THE EQUIPMENT OR PROGRAMMING ASSOCIATED WITH OR UTILIZED IN THE SWEEPSTAKES; (2) TECHNICAL FAILURES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO MALFUNCTIONS, INTERRUPTIONS, OR DISCONNECTIONS IN PHONE LINES OR NETWORK HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE; (3) UNAUTHORIZED HUMAN INTERVENTION IN ANY PART OF THE ENTRY PROCESS OR THE SWEEPSTAKES; (4) TECHNICAL OR HUMAN ERROR WHICH MAY OCCUR IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES OR THE PROCESSING OF ENTRIES; OR (5) ANY INJURY OR DAMAGE TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY WHICH MAY BE CAUSED, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, FROM ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES OR RECEIPT OR USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE. If for any reason an Entrant’s Entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, Entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes, provided that if it is not possible to award another entry, for any reason, Uber (as well as Administrator and Marriott) shall not have any liability for same. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failures beyond any Released Party’s control that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes (including entries or otherwise), Sponsor/Administrator reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual, whether or not the individual is a participant in the Sweepstakes, who tampers with the entry process, and to terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes (including the availability of Bonus Points with Entry). In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to conduct the Sweepstakes and award the Prizes by means of a random drawing from among all non-suspect Eligible Entries received prior to and/or after (as appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor/Administrator or otherwise in a manner which is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor/Administrator in their sole discretion. Sponsor further reserves the right to make Bonus Points available with Entry in a manner which is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor/Administrator in their sole discretion (in consultation with Marriott). Notice of termination/modification/suspension of Sweepstakes will be posted on Uber’s website and will be posted in app.
- Grant of Rights: Except where prohibited by law, by entering the Sweepstakes and/or winning a Prize, Entrant irrevocably consents to the use of their name, image, photograph, likeness, biographical information, entry, statements attributed to Entrant (if true) and any video footage related to the Prize, for all Sweepstakes Entities’ advertising, promotional or other commercial purposes in all media now or hereafter known, worldwide and in perpetuity without additional compensation and additionally consents to the Sweepstakes Entities putting his or her name on a winners’ list. Please note that Uber may not acknowledge or return any entries.
- Privacy and Use of Sweepstakes Information: All information submitted by Entrants and collected by Uber in connection with Entrant’s entry will be subject to and will be treated in a manner consistent with Uber’s website Terms of Use accessible at: https://www.uber.com/legal/en/document/?name=general-terms-of-use&country=united-states&lang=en and Uber’s User Privacy Policy available at: https://www.uber.com/legal/en/document/?name=privacy-notice&country=united-states&lang=en. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant hereby agrees that Uber may collect and use their personal information submitted with the entry and acknowledges that they have read and accepted Uber’s User Privacy Policy (as applicable). Among other things, the information Entrants provide may be used for sending Entrants company updates and announcements about Uber and its products and/or services in accordance with applicable law. With regard to Marriott Bonvoy™ Account aspect of Sweepstakes entry, Entrants are advised to review the Marriott Group Global Privacy Statement, accessible at https://www.marriott.com/about/privacy.mi, which details how Marriott collects, uses and discloses their information.
- Binding Arbitration: THE ARBITRATION AGREEMENT CONTAINED IN UBER’S TERMS OF USE WILL GOVERN ANY DISPUTES, CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM(S) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SWEEPSTAKES OR THE AWARD OF THE PRIZES. THE MARRIOTT BONVOY LOYALTY PROGRAM RULES, INCLUDING ANY TERMS AND CONDITIONS THEREIN RELATING TO DISPUTE RESOLUTION, GOVERN ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO MARRIOTT BONVOY POINTS, INCLUDING BONUS POINTS AND PRIZES.
- Governing Law: All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Entrant and Uber in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, New York State law without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of laws rules (whether of New York or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than New York. THE MARRIOTT BONVOY LOYALTY PROGRAM RULES, INCLUDING ANY TERMS AND CONDITIONS THEREIN RELATING TO GOVERNING LAW JURISDICTION, AND VENUE, GOVERN ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO MARRIOTT BONVOY POINTS, INCLUDING BONUS POINTS AND PRIZES.
- Accessibility of Official Rules and Winners’ List: A copy of the Official Rules is available via http://uber.com/blog/pickupmorepoints/. Where required by law, Uber will provide the names of the Winners of the Sweepstakes to those who request it. For the names of Winners: (i) send a self-addressed, stamped envelope postmarked to Uber Pickup More Points Sweepstakes Winners List, c/o Probability, PO Box 1559, Social Circle, GA 30025-1559. All requests must be received by December 20, 2025.
