After John McCain's attack on Barack Obama Paris Hilton, she has decided to fight back by running for president herself. And i don't know about you but she seems perfect for the job.
I don’t think I’ve spent time praising Against Me! …and unfortunately I’m not about to now (It’s really late and I’m about to hit the sack). But they have a new video for “New Age” and it’s…it’s…well just check it out.
*Note* At the end of the video there is a special surprise.
Finished with Ipod commercials as music videos, Coldplay has been hard at work creating a proper music video for “Viva La Vida.” So much so, that they’ve actually came out with two videos like they did for “Violet Hill. In my opinion, neither of these videos are spectacular, but—for Coldplay’s sake-- one is less mind-numbing than the other.
P.S. –I enjoyed the second one.
The first video, directed by Hype Williams, have Chris Martin & Co. as paintings that have miraculously come alive to play us a pleasing composition. It’s kind of reminiscent of the Ipod commercial except less cool and with more colors.
For the alternative video, Chris Martin mistakenly dresses up for a Burger King audition and apparently loses the part. In response, he decides to sulk and walk aimlessly around a European city with the French painting La Liberté guidant le people under his arm. If the video looks familiar it’s because Anton Corbjin directed it and it is a tribute to the Depeche Mode video that he also directed “Enjoy the Silence”
I first heard this song from my girl Glam’s blog (http://glamindustries.uber.com/) and it’s truly embarrassing that he would release something like that knowing that the otherside would find someway to turn it negatively. And that they did.
First, listen to the song in all it’s entirely.
Secondly, watch Fox News’ idea on the video.
Although, I do agree that what he said was uncalled for. It is ridiculous to say that Obama agrees with any of the words that came from Ludacris’ mouth. I don’t watch Fox News because I feel that it kills brain cells, but it’s hard to believe that they are even allowed to be on the airwaves. It’s all propaganda and smokes and mirrors.
Underrated comes to the mind whenever I hear Big Boi’s name. Although, I do feel Andre 3000 might be a better rapper in general; Big Boi’s name should also be up there with the greats. Speakerboxxx was a funky intergalactic masterpiece and Big Boi was the captain of the spacecraft taking you to realms of the universe you never though existed.
He does it once again, with Mary J Blige as co-pilot, on "Something's Gotta Give". Big Boi-or should I say Sir Lucious Leftfoot- has always been the more politically minded Outkast member and he shines here as he raps about rising gas prices, people with no hope, and at the end we all need to make a change. It’s less offensive than Luda’s “Politics: Obama is Here”, but I bet Fox News will find someway to spin this against Obama. Oh well life goes on.
The Cool Kids are cool for a reason. They are actually good at freestyling. While taking a cab ride through the streets of London, Mickey and Inglish decided to entertain the cameras by releasing everything in their dome in the form of words (a.k.a. freestyling).
Devendra Banhart is an interesting fellow in the sense that he either may be a crazy loon trying to dream up the past by being a 60's saint or he just might by crazy. You don't have to be crazy though to realize the magic in "I Heard Somebody Say". There's just a few lines from the freak-folk prophet, but they are enough.

stuff white people like is hilarious! "It is the duty of every white person to correct typos. It is worth the risk of banishment to deliver proper grammar to those who need it." Good stuff!
No team has overcome a 3-1 deficit in the finals to win a title. The first 28 failed, and now the Lakers, who blew a 24-point lead and lost Game 4 and nearly squandered a 19-point lead in Game 5, have a chance to do something extraordinary.
