Important airport information for licensed limousine carriers in Georgia:
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)
If you drive an Uber Black eligible vehicle:
- You can pick up passengers requesting an Uber Black or Uber Black SUV trip at the airport through the Uber app.
- However, you must obtain an airport permit, acquire a transponder, and pay all required airport fees directly to ATL.
If your vehicle has commercial plates (must begin with the letters “LM”), but is not eligible for Uber Black:
- You cannot pick up passengers at the airport through the Uber app unless you are part of an ATL-registered fleet.
- You can still drop off passengers at the airport.
Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) & Savannah / Hilton Head International Airport
At this time, commercially licensed drivers are not eligible to complete pickup trips at AGS or SAV through the Uber app. We will let you know if airport trip eligibility changes for commercially licensed drivers in the future.
