Uber is kicking off new pilot project with “Uber Last Mile” in Berlin and Munich
8 June 2021 / GermanyJust on time for warmer days and nights Uber is launching a new pilot project: Uber Last Mile. With Uber Last Mile, you can ride home safely and for a fixed price from U-Bahn termini in Berlin and Munich – available around the clock in the Uber App and carried out as per usual by our rental car partners’ professional partner drivers.
For Euro 6.00 our partner drivers drive you right to your doorstep from 11 stations in Berlin and 14 stations in Munich in the usual reliable and swift way. The best thing about it? When in the respective areas, the fixed price will be applied automatically.
In Berlin, 11 U-Bahn termini outside the S-Bahn Ring will be covered in this first pilot phase. These are: Rathaus Spandau, Ruhleben, Krumme Lanke, Rathaus Steglitz, Alt-Mariendorf, Rudow, Hoenow, Wittenau and Alt-Tegel. Distances of up to 2.5 km are covered.
In Munich, Uber Last Mile is available from all 14 U-Bahn termini within a range of 2.5 km of the station.
