Go―Get Zero

Our global climate event

It’s our goal to be a zero-emission and low-packaging-waste platform by 2040.* That’s why at Go-Get Zero, our annual climate event, we announced new features and updates to accelerate electrification and make it easier for drivers, delivery people, customers and merchants to make greener choices. While there’s still lots of work ahead, that vision is picking up speed. Explore all our announcements and watch the event.

Accelerating electrification for drivers and delivery people

AI assistant

This new generative AI feature, coming soon to the Driver app, will help drivers and delivery people get quick and personalised answers to every EV question under the sun.

EV Mentors

We’ll connect experienced EV drivers and delivery people with those who are EV curious to allow them to share their experiences and answer questions directly.

Helping make green choices easier

Emission savings refresh

Keep tabs on the estimated emissions you avoid when you choose greener ride options on Uber. The dashboard now includes your Lime e-bike and e-scooter rides, plus UberX Share rides. Tembici bikes coming soon.

EV Preferences

This new feature will allow riders to set their preference in their Uber app settings to get matched with an EV anytime one is nearby.

Climate Collection

Browse and buy from climate-conscious brands, on demand. The Climate Collection is a curated selection of like-minded brands including Allbirds, Credo Beauty, Cuyana, L’Occitane and more.** Head to the Uber Eats app to start shopping, and keep an eye out for new brands and offerings, coming soon.

Farmers markets on Uber Eats

Farm-to-table is just a step away. In New York City and Los Angeles, you can now order seasonal produce and fresh goods directly from your local farmers markets.

Giving merchants the green light

Green Packaging Marketplace

Our global Green Packaging Marketplace helps make more sustainable packaging available to every Uber Eats restaurant. And we’re offering promotions for restaurants to give more sustainable packaging a try.

Green Ambassadors

We’ll reward merchants that have the most impactful sustainability efforts on our platform with a grant and promotions worth up to $50,000 to help put toward their own sustainability goals. They’ll serve as Green Ambassadors and share testimonials with other merchants looking to make the switch to more sustainable packaging.

The Earthshot Prize partnership

We’ve joined The Earthshot Prize as a founding partner to help source and grow the next generation of climate start-ups. Their innovations are making more sustainable choices easier, more affordable and better for all of us.
