If paying in cash – simply choose the CASH option, take a ride and pay the fare directly to your driver at the end of the trip.

HOW DOES IT WORK – EXISTING UBER RIDER

  1. Open the app and select “SET PICKUP LOCATION”
  2. Look towards the bottom right of the screen where your card details are displayed and tap on the card number
  3. In the menu that pops up, select “CASH” (you can always select your preferred method of payment whenever requesting a new trip)
  4. Request a ride
  5. Before you get out, pay the amount shown directly to the driver – no haggling required!

HOW DOES IT WORK – NEW UBER RIDER

  1. Download the free Uber application from your app store
  2. Register your details (no need to add a payment option at this stage)
  3. If paying in cash – request a ride and pay the amount shown directly to the driver before you get out. No haggling required!
  4. If paying with a card – request a ride and simply step out the vehicle at the end of the trip, as the payment is charged directly to your card on file
