- Your LAX placard is tied to one person and one vehicle. Make sure you are using the airport placard that is registered to you and the vehicle you are driving. If you use more than one vehicle to drive with Uber, LAWA requires that you get a unique placard for each one
- For the safety of you and your rider, you will need to pull up along the curb and inside the solid white line in order to drop off your rider on the upper departures level. If you drop off in a moving lane of traffic—whether partially or completely—LAX police may give you a citation
Following these pro tips will help you avoid fines between $200 and $1200 from LAX police, so your pickups and dropoffs at the airport can be as smooth as possible.
