Uber Technologies, Inc. (“Uber“) is sponsoring the Uber Teen x Apple Music Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes“). The Sweepstakes is subject to these official rules (the “Official Rules“), and by participating, you [if a minor, your parent or legal guardian] (“Entrant“) agree to be bound by them and the decisions of Uber and Administrator (as defined below), which are final and binding in all respects.

ENTRANTS UNDER THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR JURISDICTION OF RESIDENCE MUST HAVE PERMISSION FROM THEIR PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN IN ORDER TO ENTER. IF THE PRIZE IS WON BY A MINOR IN THEIR JURISDICTION OF RESIDENCE, THE PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED IN THE NAME OF SAID MINOR’S PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN (AND A PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN MUST BE ONE OF SAID MINOR’S TRAVEL GUESTS).

Method #1 – Take an Uber Trip: Open the Uber app, request a ride and take an eligible trip (as defined below) to receive an entry into the Sweepstakes. In order to receive an entry via this method, a trip must have been successfully completed on the Uber platform during the Sweepstakes Period. A trip is successfully completed when a passenger arrives at their location (canceled trips are not eligible) within an eligible area (i.e., 48 contiguous United States/Washington D.C. [excluding FL and CA]) during the Sweepstakes Period (an “Eligible Trip“). (The length of the trip will not affect one’s ability to enter the Sweepstakes provided that it has been successfully completed.) To be entered for a chance to win the prize (“Prize“), the trip must have been successfully completed during the Sweepstakes Period. Should a trip occur over two (2) days, the entry will count only for the day in which the trip was successfully completed. To enter the Sweepstakes by this method, an Uber account with a Family Profile and at least one (1) associated teen account is required. An Uber account can be obtained at no cost at uber.com or by downloading the app from the appropriate app store. Method #2 – Order with Uber Eats: Open the Uber or Uber Eats app, place an eligible order (as defined below) for delivery or pickup from any restaurant or merchant partner available on the Uber platform to receive an entry into the Sweepstakes. All applicable taxes and order fees still apply and does not increase chances of winning.  In order to receive an entry via this method, an order must have been successfully completed on the Uber platform during the Sweepstakes Period. An order is successfully completed when the order arrives at the requested location or picked up directly from the restaurant or merchant partner (canceled orders are not eligible) within an eligible area (i.e., 48 contiguous United States/Washington D.C. [excluding FL and CA]) during the Sweepstakes Period (an “Eligible Order“). (The cost of the order will not affect one’s ability to enter the Sweepstakes provided that it has been successfully completed.) To be entered for a chance to win the prize (“Prize“), the order must have been successfully completed during the Sweepstakes Period. Scheduled Orders excluded. To enter the Sweepstakes by this method, an Uber account with a Family Profile and at least one (1) associated teen account is required. Method #3 – Free Alternate Method of Entry Form (“AMOE”): To enter the Sweepstakes without completing a trip, submit your full name (if a Minor, submit your first name only, as well as your Parent’s full name), email address (associated with Parent of the Uber Family  account), phone number, as well as state of residence, on the entry form found at https://forms.gle/Hd5QMAtUoZzdoKvU6 to receive one (1) entry. To be entered for a chance to win the prize, the completed entry form must have been received during the Sweepstakes Period (as defined in Rule 2 above).

Limit one (1) entry per Uber Family Profile with teen account per day regardless of entry method.  A “day” is defined as 12:00:00 a.m. PT – 11:59:59 p.m. PT, except for January 16, 2025, which begins at 12:00:01 a.m. PT. Maximum eight (8) entries throughout the Sweepstakes Period. For clarity:

All entries must be received no later than the end of the Sweepstakes Period to be considered. Any entries that result from or are associated with unlawful behavior will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. Uber/Administrator in their sole discretion will decide whether a given entry satisfies the criteria for entry in the Sweepstakes. Any attempt by any Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that Entrant’s entries and that Entrant may be disqualified. Such actions may also result in the loss of access to the Uber Marketplace Platform (for both the teen specifically and/or their parent/legal guardian who established the Family Profile including the relevant teen account as well as for other teens with accounts under that Family Profile). Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to any Entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Parent of the Uber Family Profile account used for entry, will be deemed to be the Entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the entry. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Uber/Administrator will make the final determination of identity of Entrants in their sole discretion. All entries submitted in compliance with these Official Rules and not disqualified or void are considered “Eligible Entries.” All entries are the property of Uber and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Odds of winning depend on the number of Eligible Entries received.

Provided that the potential winner is in compliance with the Official Rules and after having successfully proven eligibility, they will be officially confirmed as the winner (“Winner“). By entering or accepting the Prize, Winner (if a Minor, their Parent) allows Uber to use the Winner’s entry, name, photograph, likeness, voice, opinions, Prize information, biographical information, hometown and state for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation or notice where permitted by law. 

Uber expressly reserves the right to delay the announcement of the Winner for any reason it deems necessary. Additionally, Uber and the Sweepstakes Entities reserve the right to make a public announcement, announcing the Winner on either the Uber website or through the Uber app, or in any manner (including, without limitation, social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram or X [formerly Twitter]) etc.) which they deem appropriate.

Prize (One [1] Winner): Winner will receive a trip for up to four (4) (i.e., winner and up to three [3] guests [each a “Guest,” collectively “Guests” and together with the Winner, the “Group“) to attend Super Bowl LIX football game (“Game“), scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 9, 2025 in New Orleans, LA (“Trip“). Trip consists of: (i) round trip coach air transportation for Group from a major commercial airport near  Winner’s legal residence (as selected by the Sponsor/Administrator) (“Airport of Origin”) to New Orleans, LA (”Destination City“) area airport (as chosen by the Sponsor, with possible layovers). However, if Winner resides within one-hundred fifty (150) miles of Destination City (as determined by the Sponsor/Administrator in their sole discretion), air travel will not be provided to Winner/Group and ground transportation may be provided instead (and, in such case, no alternate prize or compensation will be provided); (ii) three (3) nights’ standard hotel accommodations (two rooms, double occupancy) at a New Orleans area hotel (as selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion); (iii) $1,000 in Uber Cash to be used towards ground transportation while in Destination City (or otherwise for services available via Uber)†; and (iv) up to four (4)  tickets to the Game (i.e., one [1] for Winner and up to three (3) Guests).

ARV: $55,400.00.

†Uber Cash is NOT legal tender. Rather, it is a gift card issued to the winner for use in their Uber (or Postmates) Account in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in Uber Cash Purchase Agreement.  

If Winner (and, if Winner is a minor in their jurisdiction of residence, Winner and/or their parent/legal guardian) is/are unable to travel to Destination City between February 7, 2025 – February 10, 2025 for any reason, Prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate Winner may be selected from among all remaining eligible entries received, provided sufficient time remains prior to the Game. In the event Winner is able to participate in the Trip during the dates designated by Sponsor but the Game does not or cannot take place as scheduled or at all, for reasons including but not limited to cancellations, postponement, location changes, an event of force majeure, or for any other reason, then Sponsor reserves the right to award the remainder of the Prize with no further obligation to the Winner.

Specific seat location at Game will be at Sponsor’s sole determination. Ticket privileges are provided to Winner and Guest(s) pursuant to a revocable, non-transferable license that is personal to Winner/Guest(s) and may not be sold, resold, auctioned, bartered, assigned, exchanged, placed in commerce, transferred, given away, donated, or otherwise conveyed. Attending the Game constitutes agreement of Group (if Winner/any Guest is a Minor, their Parent) to the terms and conditions of such tickets, including compliance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as Venue policies, including those intended to prevent the spread of COVID-19/Coronavirus (e.g., mask-wearing, provision of proof of vaccination, provision of proof of negative COVID-19/Coronavirus test). NFL and/or Caesars Superdome may revoke ticket privileges or admission to Game at any time for, amongst other things, failure of the holder to conduct themselves in accordance with NFL’s Fan Code of Conduct while attending the Game at any time before, after or during any portion of the Trip or if a Winner or any Guest is determined to be intoxicated, to pose a safety risk to themself or others, to violate any applicable law or venue policy, or engages in any conduct that brings Sponsor, the NFL and/or Caesars Superdome into disrepute.

Group must travel together on specified itinerary as set by the Sponsor/Administrator, including same departure date, Airport of Origin and return date or Prize may be forfeited in its entirety. Group will be solely responsible for obtaining valid photo identification. In addition, Winner and perhaps one (1) Guest of Winner may be required to present a valid credit card at the hotel at the time of check-in. Should Winner and/or Guest (if applicable) not have a credit card/payment instrument with sufficient available credit/funds to pay for a hotel stay of three (3) nights (or in such other amount as prescribed by hotel), Winner and/or Guest (if applicable) agree(s) to sign additional documents and/or take other steps prescribed by Sponsor/Administrator, upon request and without compensation of any kind, so as to protect Sponsor/Administrator from incurring any liability for damage to the hotel rooms caused during the hotel stay by Group. Group must provide their own transportation to and from the Airport of Origin. 

Guests of Winner must complete, sign and return a Liability Release, Publicity Release (where lawful) prior to Prize travel. If a Guest is a minor in their jurisdiction of residence, such minor’s parent/legal guardian must be the Winner (or another Guest) and sign a Release on their behalf. Once selected by the Winner, Guest(s) cannot be changed without the express consent of Sponsor/Administrator, which may be withheld for any reason. If the Winner chooses to bring less than the allotted number of Guests, the Trip will be awarded in increments suitable for the actual number of participants with no substitute or compensation provided to the Winner. Without limitation, Winner will only receive a quantity of tickets to the Game which corresponds to the actual number of participants. 

Actual final value of Prize may vary depending upon point of departure and fare fluctuations; and, under no circumstances will Winner receive the difference between ARV and actual final value of Prize in cash (or in any other form). Prize is non-transferable and cannot be extended beyond the date set forth above. Winner is solely responsible for all other expenses related to Trip not specified herein, including but not limited to: roundtrip transportation between Winner’s residence and Airport of Origin, airline baggage fees, meals, tips, taxes, travel insurance and hotel incidentals. Air transportation tickets are non-refundable/non-transferable and are not valid for upgrades and/or frequent flier miles. All air transportation tickets are subject to the vagaries of flight variation, work stoppages and schedule or route changes. The Sponsor and its agencies are not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of delays, cancellation or unforeseen events related to the flights and/or the Game.

Group must follow all instructions of Sponsor/NFL, as applicable. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Prize. Should Winner and/or their Guest(s) fail to adhere to any such instructions or engage in unruly, obnoxious, illegal, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate behavior during any portion of the Trip inclusive of the stay in the provided hotel and attending the Game (as determined by Sponsor/NFL in their sole discretion), Sponsor/NFL reserve the right, without further notice or warning, to terminate prize early, and send Winner and/or Guest/Group home and/or take other actions as Sponsor/NFL deem appropriate in their sole discretion without any liability or other obligation to Winner or the Group. Inappropriate behavior includes but is not limited to any Minor Winner or Guest being supervised by a Parent (as necessary and appropriate) or the failure of any Winner or Guest to comply with governmental mandates, Venue or NFL or airline or hotel rules, requirements or policies (including those designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (such as, mask-wearing, social distancing, completion of health questionnaire)). Participation in applicable activity/activities may also be conditioned upon proof of a negative COVID-19 test or satisfactory proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. 

In connection with any visit to any location in connection with the Prize, please be advised that Sponsor’s policies, CDC guidelines, and the recommendations of health officials must be followed. Please note that any public location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19, and Sponsor cannot guarantee that any person will not be exposed during the Trip.

National Football League (also referred to herein as “NFL”) and its Member Teams are not responsible for administering this Sweepstakes or selecting the winner. Prize is not redeemable for cash except only for Uber Cash prize element where cash redemption of same is required by applicable law) or transferable. No substitutions allowed, except as set forth in these Official Rules and at Sponsor’s sole discretion, a prize (or prize element) of comparable or equal value will be provided. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee by Sponsor or NFL.

PRIZE WINNER (IF A MINOR, THEIR PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN) WILL BE ISSUED A FORM 1099 FOR TAX PURPOSES IN THE AMOUNT OF THE ACTUAL/FINAL VALUE OF THE PRIZE AND MUST SUBMIT THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER (AND OTHERWISE COOPERATE WITH SPONSOR/ADMINISTRATOR IN REPORTING THEIR RECEIPT OF PRIZE TO THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE AND/OR OTHER TAX AUTHORITIES), AS REQUIRED BY LAW. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND OTHER TAXES IMPOSED ON THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRIZE ARE SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

Entrants and Winners (if a minor in their jurisdiction of residence, their parent or legal guardian) each irrevocably waive all claims against the NFL Entities and agrees that the NFL Entities will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or the Prize awarded. The NFL Entities have not offered or sponsored this Sweepstakes in any way.
