We are thrilled to announce that for the second year in a row, we’re partnering with award-winning tech bootcamp Ironhack to offer coding scholarships to Florida driver-partners and riders. Last year, we awarded $100,000 in scholarships – this year, we’re doubling the total funding to $200,000 in scholarships to kickstart coding careers in Florida.
Four winners will be awarded full scholarships (each valued at $11,000) to take one of Ironhack’s 2018 bootcamps, and 40+ partial scholarships to Ironhack’s 2018 bootcamps will be awarded to additional winners.
Learn more about some of last year’s amazing scholarship winners below.
How it works
- Uber riders and driver-partners throughout Florida can request an application here
- Application requests must be done by 11:59 PM EST on 1/23
- Selected finalists will be contacted by Ironhack for interviews. Winners will have six months to redeem their scholarships with Ironhack. Winners are selected based on a competitive interview process which consists of a written application, technical interview, and personal interview.
