Uber’s magic of “push a button and get a ride” has been helping Nashvillians get around town quickly and safely for over 2 years. But we’ve heard from you that sometimes you need a little extra peace of mind, especially for that 4AM ride to the Nashville airport.
We totally get it, and that’s why we’ve worked hard to get our brand new Scheduled Rides feature in the hands of Nashville riders.
With just a few taps on your app, you can schedule your ride 15 minutes to 30 days in advance. And whether you’re headed to BNA, an important meeting, or a first date, have the comfort of knowing your Uber will be there when it’s time to head out.
Scheduled rides are currently available in select Nashville neighborhoods, but we’re working to expand the area soon! If you’re in the area and don’t see the feature, try force closing and re-opening your app.
How it works:
- Select uberX and tap “Schedule a Ride.”
- Set your pickup date, time, location, and destination.
- Confirm the details of your upcoming trip and tap “Schedule uberX.” You can cancel at anytime before your ride is on the way.
- We’ll send you reminders both 24 hours and 30 minutes in advance of your pickup. You’ll be notified after your ride is on the way, as well as whether surge pricing applies.
