We’re continuing to recognize standout driver-partners in Seattle who help keep this great city moving. Our latest All Star Driver, Michael, and his family recently enjoyed the ultimate Mariners game day experience, which included a behind-the-scenes tour of Safeco Field, Mariners merchandise, batting practice viewing access, and more.
We selected Michael because of an instance where he served not only as an Uber driver-partner, but a helpful community member. During a trip, he and his rider noticed a toddler near a busy street with no parent in sight. They stopped and spent time searching for the boy’s parent, eventually reuniting him with his grateful mother.
Get to know Michael:
Michael started as a part-time Uber driver-partner while working as a copy machine technician. He soon realized that he was making more money driving than in his other job, so he quickly transitioned to full-time. A native of Missouri, Michael now lives in Marysville with his wife and 3 children. When he’s not driving or spending time with his family, Michael is a big music fan and loves playing the guitar.
