Trip Radar helps you see and show interest in trip requests happening nearby – allowing you to get a broader view of available trips.
How Trip Radar Works:

Browse requests
When you’re not on an active trip, you may receiveTrip Radar requests. They’ll appear as offer cards. To show interest in Trip Radar requests, tap the ‘Match’ button. You can still receive individual trip requests when Trip Radar is available—these will be labeled as ‘Exclusive’ in the offer card.

Compare requests
Driving over 10 mph? You’ll see a single Trip Radar request along with an overview of the trip route.
Driving under 10 mph or stopped? You can browse multiple Trip Radar requests with map views. Swipe to see more options or swipe down to dismiss them all.
Prefer a list view? Tap the button at the top to switch views and compare trip details at a glance.

Request to “Match
If a trip looks good, tap ‘Match’ to show interest—you can select multiple trips at once. Since other drivers also see these trip requests, you won’t match with every request, but the more you select, the better your chances of getting a trip that works for you. Uber’s matching system helps reduce wait times by factoring in driver proximity and estimated pickup times.

Trip Radar does not impact your acceptance rate
Using Trip Radar won’t affect your acceptance rate. If you don’t want a trip, just ignore or decline it—there’s no penalty. When you decline a Trip Radar trip, you won’t see it again in most cases. Feel free to show interest in multiple trips without worrying about your acceptance rate . However, canceling a trip after being matched will affect your cancellation rate.
Trip Radar at airports
We’re rolling out an improved way to match airport trips. At select airports, when joining the waiting lots, all airport ride requests will now be available through Trip Radar. This means you will no longer receive Exclusive requests at the airport when joining the waiting lots. This new system is designed to create faster matches and reduce wait times, helping you get on the road more quickly.
Trip Radar vs Exclusive Requests
Trip Radar

- Requests shown to multiple drivers at once
- You can request to match with a request
- Requests are not guaranteed
- Does not impact acceptance rate
- Cancels after a match count towards cancelation rate
Trip Radar trip requests won’t have the “Exclusive” badge, and you will see a “Match” button instead of an “Accept” button.
Exclusive Requests

- Request only shown to you
- You can accept or decline offers
- Guaranteed to be yours if you accept
- Counts towards your acceptance rate
- Cancels after accepting a trip count towards cancelation rate
Exclusive trip requests will feature an “Exclusive” badge and an “Accept” button. For ride requests, the “Accept” button will be blue. For delivery requests, it will be green.
