Teaming up with the San Francisco Giants to Celebrate our Hometown

We are excited to team up with the San Francisco Giants to celebrate our hometown riders and drivers. This season, we will be working to make it easier to get to and from the games safely, honor some of our all star driver partners, and spread the Giants experience beyond the stadium.

The pitcher winds up, the smell of garlic fries fills the air, and the crowd settles into the ballpark. It’s baseball season, and we’re thrilled to announce that Uber is the Preferred Ride of our hometown team, the San Francisco Giants.

All season long, we’ll be celebrating San Francisco by making the experience of getting to and from the game easier, empowering fans across the Bay with a safe ride home, and delivering surprises to riders and drivers on game days.

First up—get a taste of the park, even if you’re not at the game. To celebrate the first home game of the season, tomorrow, April 7, your game day favorites will be available on demand through the all-new UberEATS app. We’ll be delivering hot dogs for $1, buffalo wings, deep dish pizza, burritos, burgers, and bacon caramel popcorn. Some orders will receive official Giants swag, and one lucky fan will receive a VIP Giants Golden Ticket to attend an upcoming game. Make sure you’ve downloaded the UberEATS app before game time!

At special home games throughout the season, Uber and the SF Giants will honor all star Uber driver partners with tickets, on-field access, and Giants gear.
