Your vehicle must-haves
- Yellow-plated vehicle
- Model year 2010 or newer
- 4-door hatchback, sedan, SUV, or minivan
- Good condition with no cosmetic damage
Registration Certificate
We require a copy of your current registration with the information clearly visible. If the vehicle is in another's name, we also require the NOC/Affidavit
Insurance
We require a copy of your current insurance policy with all information clearly visible.
Tourist Permit
We require a copy of your current tourist permit with all information clearly visible.

Vehicle options in India
- UberX
Most newer sedans qualify to drive with uberX.
Additional requirements
- 4-door sedan in good condition
- Seat at least 4 passengers in addition to the driver
- Working windows and air conditioning
- Sedans model year 2010 or newer qualify to drive with uberX. View our list of popular models, but others may qualify.
- UberXL
Seat extra passengers—and earn higher fares—with your high-capacity vehicle.
Additional requirements
- 4-door SUV or minivan with independently opening doors
- Seat at least 6 passengers in addition to the driver
- Working windows and air conditioning
- Most SUVs model year 2013 or newer qualify to drive with uberXL. See our list of popular models, but others may qualify.
