Head of Sales, Uber Korea
About the Role
The Mobility Sales team is responsible for bringing Uber's vision to life in Korea. They are responsible for strategy development, execution, and key stakeholder management for Uber Mobility Supply. Sales Operations are all about running our business with executional excellence and helping our driver-partners get the most out of the Uber platform.
We seek an experienced Sales professional to holistically own strategic projects and execute initiatives focusing on the impact to grow taxi fleet partnerships and vehicle supply on our platform.
Your Impact in Role
- Building relationships with the senior leadership of taxi companies, boosting our fleet and driver acquisition, engagement and retention efforts, tailoring our value proposition to driver needs, and deciding on a new product launch approach and timeline
- Represent Uber and build relationship with potential taxi drivers and associations
- Increase driver engagement and supply
- Develop and lead Uber's supply growth strategy in Korea.
- Hands-on management of successful Sales and Account Management members
The Experience You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is usually required. An MBA can be highly advantageous.
- Extensive Sales Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of progressive sales experience, with a significant portion within the mobility sector or B2B business (automotive, transportation, logistics, tech-enabled mobility solutions, etc.).
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of successfully leading and managing sales teams, ideally of 10+ people. This includes experience in hiring, training, developing, and motivating sales professionals.

- Sales Strategy and Execution: Ability to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess market data, sales performance, and identify growth opportunities.
- Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business principles, financial metrics, and P&L management.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly evolving industry.
