Uber for Business Admin FAQs
- How do I login to my Uber for Business dashboard?
Go to https://business.uber.com to log in.
TIP FOR ADMINS: Remember to use the email associated with your personal Uber account to login, not your company details. (Please note this is only for login purposes, your personal data and trips will never be shared with the company) - How to monitor employee access?
Click EMPLOYEES on the left. You can search for specific employees, or click on ACTIVE (employees who have accepted invitation) and PENDING (employees who have not accepted their invitation) to see who has access to the Uber for Business account. - Are employees still using their corporate cards?
Remind employees to use your central company payment method when they take Uber trips and not their corporate card—this way you’ll be able to track and report on all activity. That means less paperwork for employees! - How do I give someone admin access?
Once an employee is active on the Uber for Business account, go to the EMPLOYEES tab. Click the checkbox next to their name, then click on the blue/white key icon that appears at the top of the employee dashboard, it will say MAKE ADMIN when you hover over it. Simply click and they will have admin access too. - Can I add or remove employees?
To add an employee, click on the ADD EMPLOYEE button. To remove an employee, simply click the checkbox next to their name and then the trashcan icon. - What insurance do Uber driver partners have?
We want to ensure that passengers, as well as members of the community, are well protected. That’s why uberX driver partners’ cars have at least third party property damage insurance. Uber also ensures that each uberX trip in Australia is protected by at least AUD$20,000,000 contingent cover for bodily injury and property damage to third parties. That cover is provided by Australian insurance company CGU. It’s also worth mentioning that, in cities where we operate UberBLACK, UberLUX and uberTAXI, those rides are provided by commercially licensed and insured driver-partners, and as such, are covered by commercial insurance policies. In other words, every passenger trip that takes place on the Uber platform is covered by insurance. - What background checks do Uber driver-partners have?
Uber’s rideshare driver-partners in Australia must be at least 21 years of age and must have an Australian Driver’s Licence for at least 12 months. They must drive a registered four-door passenger vehicle, which is no older than ten years old. Ridesharing driver-partners must also undergo additional screening, either by obtaining a Background History Check and Driving History Check, or by applying for an authority or accreditation card with their local/State authority.
