How to create an Uber account
- Download the Uber app on your phone from the App Store or Google Play
- Create an account (your login works for both Uber and Uber Eats).
- If you’re on your phone, click here to automatically apply the promo after completing steps 1 & 2. If you’re on a desktop, open the Uber app on your phone, go to Account > Wallet, scroll down, and tap Add promo code.

- Book your first ride on Uber with up to $30 off*
Prefer to speak to someone? You can now call 13-UBER (13 82 37) to request a ride. You’ll need to call from a mobile phone, as trip details will be sent by text. Booking fee applies. You can also use this number to speak to someone if you need assistance with the app.
How to create an Uber Eats account
- Download the Uber Eats app in the App Store or Google Play
- Create an account (your login works for both Uber and Uber Eats).
- If you’re on your phone, click here to automatically apply the promo after completing steps 1 & 2. If you’re on a desktop, open the Uber Eats app on your phone, go to Account > Promotions and tap “Enter promo code”.
- Enter the promo code: NSWSENIORSCARD
- Enjoy $20 off your first two orders from local restaurants or grocers if you order at least $25 (excl. fees). Fees and T&Cs apply**.
*New rider promotion applies up to $30 off 1 (one) completed trip on Uber (where available). Promotion is only valid for new users. The promotion applies to the value of the trip fare only and does not apply to tolls, surcharges, levies, cancellation fees, wait fees or any other fee or charge.
