What is uberVINO?
Historically, getting to or from a winery meant a quick rock, paper, scissors contest to pick the designated driver, or paying for a private chauffeur. Until uberVINO arrived that is…
From Wednesdays to Sundays between 10am and 4pm, riders can request uberVINO to take them and 3 friends to the Adelaide Hills wine region.
Riders may choose to go to any winery in the Adelaide Hills region. They just need to enter the address in the app.
Some amazing wineries are offering great deals to uberVINO riders; check out these deals below!
Have a friend new to uberVINO? Give them the code ‘UBERVINOADL’ to receive $20 off their first uberVINO ride! This could mean up to $80 off the bill for a group of 4 new riders using the fare split function.
Partner requirements
- Maintain a rating of 4.7 or above.
- Have a medium to large sized vehicle.
How does it work?
uberVINO works exactly the same as uberX except you stay with the same rider(s) for the duration of their wine tour!
- Accept the uberVINO request, if you have 3-4 hours free. It will say uberVINO at the top.
- Pick up the rider(s).
- Drop them off at the first winery. Relax in the parking area. Do not end the trip, you’re earning while you wait!
- The same rider(s) will return to your car and update their destination in the app. This step can happen multiple times throughout the day, so keep that trip going!
- End the trip once the riders have been dropped off at their final destination.
