Did you know that Uber Freight is made up of 1200+ employees globally? Since launching in the U.S. in 2017, Uber Freight has worked to revitalize the trucking industry and bring new opportunities to both carriers and shippers across the country. The inroads we have made in the U.S. are exciting and now have expanded across the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, as well as our North American neighbor, Canada.

Describe your team to someone outside of Uber?

“Uber Freight wants to make it thoughtless to transport commercial goods anywhere in the world. Today, we connect manufacturers and shippers with trucking companies in the same way that Uber connects riders and drivers.”

What are the most interesting challenges you need to solve?

“We are working in an industry where our customers are used to standing in line at the truck stop to use the fax machine. There’s so much more we can do. One of our most interesting challenges is how to make Uber Freight insanely simple and delightful so carriers can focus on finding business and shippers can focus on producing products.”

What are your biggest achievements in your Uber career to date?

“I feel proud to be part of a team that has taken a small idea and turned it into one of the largest freight platforms in the country (and launched internationally) in just 3 years. As a Product Lead for Uber Freight, I’m constantly challenged to think ahead of the curve and build an environment where creativity can thrive. I’m immensely proud of the work the team has done.”
