Uber reimagines the way tech companies celebrate their values—and their employees—for the better

Last month, we hosted our first-ever Reimagine Awards, recognizing 17 employees from around the globe for living our cultural values and making a significant impact on our business in 2022. Winners converged on our San Francisco headquarters to accept their awards as part of a weeklong celebration that featured a special company-wide event, a luncheon with our executive team including CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, and much more.

More than 340 employees and teams were nominated by their peers for a Reimagine Award, and one award was handed out for each of the 8 values. Winners were selected through a review and voting process that included input from Uber’s executive team as well as an employee vote to determine a single “people’s choice award.”

Winners represented many different teams and functions, each with an inspiring story tied directly to a specific cultural value. We’re thrilled to officially announce the winners of Uber’s first-ever Reimagine Awards, an initiative designed to recognize individuals and teams who exemplify our 8 cultural values to drive impact:
