NHS Rides and Meals 2024 Terms and Conditions

*Terms and Conditions:

1.Conditions of the NHS Workers Promotion (the “Promotion”)

a) This Promotion is only available to NHS or HSC  staff working in the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland), aged 18 years or over who have an Uber account linked to a valid NHS or HSC email address and who are compliant with the Uber Rider Terms and Uber Eater Terms, except employees of Uber, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of this Promotion (the “Eligibility Criteria”).

b) The Uber Eats Promotion Codes and Uber Rides Promotion Codes can only be redeemed via Uber accounts that are linked to an official NHS or HSC email address as of 23:59 December 20th 2024 (or email address associated to an individual trust within the NHS or HSC e.g. ending in stbarts.nhs.uk or belfasttrust.hscni.net). 

c) The Promotion code for the Uber Rides discount will give you ten (£10) pounds sterling off of two trips taken in the UK (including Northern Ireland),during the Uber Rides Promotion Period, subject to availability (the “Uber Rides Promotion Code”). The Uber Rides Promotion Code for trips on Uber Rides will be valid for up to 40,000 riders from 00:01 December 24th 2024 until 23:59 on December 25th 2024 only (the “Uber Rides Promotion Period”). 

d) The Promotion code for the discount on Uber Eats will give you ten (£10) pounds sterling off of one meal or grocery delivery order from participating merchants in the UK (including Northern Ireland), during the Uber Eats Promotion Period and subject to availability (the “Uber Eats Promotion Code”). The Uber Eats Promotion Code will not be valid on any basket that includes alcohol or tobacco products. The Uber Eats Promotion Code will not be valid on dine-in or pick-up orders. The Uber Eats Promotion Code for the qualifying Uber Eats orders will be valid for up to 30,000 orders from 00:01 December 24th 2024 until 23:59 on December 25th 2024 (the “Uber Eats Promotion Period”). 

e) To redeem the Uber Rides Promotion Codes, participants who meet the Eligibility Criteria during the Uber Rides Promotion Period  (and subject to Uber Rides Promotion Codes remaining available)  should apply the Uber Rides Promotion Code in the Uber Rides App before completing a qualifying trip.The Uber Rides Promotion Codes  will only apply where Uber Rides are operating and drivers are actively taking requests for rides, (check the Uber Rides App for availability of rides in your area)

f) To redeem the Uber Eats Promotion Codes  participants who meet the Eligibility Criteria during the Uber Eats Promotion Period  (and subject to Uber Eats Promotion Codes remaining available)  should apply the Uber Eats Promotion Code  in the Uber Eats App at the checkout before completing the qualifying order. The Uber Eats Promotion Codes will only apply where Uber Eats services are operating (check the Uber Eats app for availability of participating restaurants and deliveries).

g) If a trip booked through the Uber Rides App using the Uber Rides Promotion Code costs more than ten (£10) pounds sterling or an order placed through the Uber Eats App using the Uber Eats Promotion Code costs more than ten (£10) pounds sterling, you will be liable for the full remaining balance of that ride or order, including any Uber Eats applicable delivery fees, service fees or small order fees, which shall be charged to the payment method selected. Promotion codes are personal and must not be shared.

h) The Uber Eats Promotion Codes and Uber Rides Promotion Codes cannot be used in conjunction  with any other offers or promotions. The Uber Eats Promotion Codes and Uber Rides Promotion Codes  do not apply to cancellation fees, or tips on the Uber Rides App or Uber Eats App. Uber retains the right to amend or cancel this Promotion at its discretion without notice.
