The following terms and conditions will apply to Uber One: The Mandalorian competition courtesy of Disney+
We’re giving Uber One members the chance to win a trip to San Francisco to celebrate the release of The Mandalorian series 3 on Disney+
Prize Promotion Terms and Conditions:
READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING. YOU WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THEM WHEN PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROMOTION. AMONG OTHER THINGS, THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS INCLUDE LIMITATIONS OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES.
- The Promoter
- The Promoter of this Promotion is Uber Eats (UK), a company registered under the laws of England and Wales (registration number: 10078453) whose registered address is First Floor, Aldgate Tower, 2 Leman Street, London, United Kingdom, E1 8FA.
- Eligibility and Participation
- The following terms and conditions shall exclusively apply to this Uber One x Disney+ The Mandalorian Promotion (the “Promotion”) for the duration of the Promotion Period.
- The Promotion is open to all U.K. residents aged 18 years or over who are Uber One members at the time of entry, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the Promotion. Proof of age and/or identity and/or residency may be required.
- Winner must be aged 18 or over. If his/her guest is under 18 then the winner must be his/her parent or guardian.
- To enter the Promotion you must:
- Opt-in by clicking the link via email during the Promotion Period. One entry allowed per Uber One member.
- Promotion Details
- The prize available as part of this Promotion Event (the “Prize Package”) is as follows and shall be subject to third party terms and conditions:
- 2x return economy flights (from London, Belfast or Dublin to San Francisco, USA) for the winner and their guest.
- Four night hotel stay in San Francisco with breakfast for the winner and their guest, sharing one room.
- One return airport-hotel transfer for the winner and their guest, sharing the transfer.
- Rancho Obi-Wan exclusive and private tour for the winner and their guest, which includes a return hotel-ranch transfer or one day self-drive hire car (if eligible).
- Option to take part in a self-guided tour of the lobby of the Letterman Digital Arts centre for the winner and their guest
- The Flyer: a flying theatre experience over San Francisco for the winner and their guest. See more here: https://www.flyerthrillzone.com/the-flyer/
- Dinner at The Nob Hill Club and cocktails at The Top of the Mark for the winner and their guest. The winner will be provided with up to four hundred pounds (£400) sterling to spend for this occasion.
- Travel insurance provided by Performance Entertainment Ltd for the winner and their guest, where eligible.
- Prize Package (and associated tickets) is as stated and nothing else is included. There is no cash or other alternative for the Prize Package in whole or in part.
- Prize package (and associated tickets) is personal to the winner and the sale or offering for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of any tickets and/or part of any of the Prize Package is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace). The Promoter reserves the right to cancel tickets and withdraw or make void any and all Prize Package elements if these terms and conditions are not complied with.
- Dates of travel are Thursday-Monday from 14th September 2023 – 16th September 2024, excluding local and American national holidays. This travel period cannot be amended or extended.
- Winners will forfeit the prize if they fail to travel before 12th September 2024.
- Prize is subject to availability, has no cash alternative, is non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Once the associated reservations for the Prize Package elements are confirmed no changes can be made.
- Further requirements, restrictions and information relating to the redemption of the Prize Package elements:
- The hotel offering is based on two people sharing one room. The hotel will take a credit card pre-authorisation or cash deposit to cover any incidentals.
- The appearance of Steve Sansweet as part of the Rancho Obi-Wan exclusive and private tour is subject to his availability.
- The Letterman Digital Centre is open to the general public during normal business hours and access is not guaranteed. The winner and their guest visit at their own discretion.
- To participate in The Flyer experience you must be 40 inches or taller to be permitted on the ride. The Flyer is not recommended to anyone with a heart condition, epilepsy, or other severe medical conditions. Participation in The Flyer experience is done at the winner’s and their guest’s own risk.
- Winner and his/her guest are solely responsible for arranging and funding all other meals, activities and expenses not specifically set forth in this Promotion.
- Winner and his/her guest must have and are responsible for holding a valid passport, e-passports (biometric) and visas/permissions, if applicable.
- Winner and his/her guest must possess a valid ESTA issued via the US Visa Waiver programme: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov or other such travel requirement for entry into the United States. Only winners/guest with valid visas do not require this.
- Winner and his/her guest must observe at all times the Covid-19 restrictions and health and safety laws and regulations applicable to travel, hotel and activities. This may include, but not be limited to, testing requirements and/or proof of vaccination status. Winner and guest shall be responsible for ensuring that they comply at all times with any such restrictions and/or requirements in order to redeem the Prize Package.
- Except for the one guest permitted to you as part of your prize, you are not allowed to bring any additional family members or guests on the Prize trip. The winner’s guest may not be selected through any further contest, promotion or commercial event. The winner and his/her guest must travel on the same itinerary from one of the four Promoter approved airports. Once selected, the winner may not change their chosen guest without the express consent of Uber, which Uber may grant or withhold in its sole discretion.
- Winner and his/her guest travel at their own risk and, if for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to reasons of war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic, or any other kind of disaster, tampering or computer virus, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion or suspend, substitute or modify any element of the Prize Package, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
- If winner elects not to use an element of the Prize Package, such unused portion of the Prize Package will be forfeited.
- Any potential winner and his/her proposed guest will be required to sign a Promotion acceptance and release form in order to be eligible to win and/or participate in the Prize Package.
- Third Party terms and conditions shall apply to this Promotion:
- Nothing in this Promotion authorises any person to use the Walt Disney Company’s and its affiliated companies (collectively, “Disney”) name, brand, intellectual property, characters or reputation in conjunction with this Promotion and that a valid promotional agreement with Disney is a precondition for use of this prize package in association with Disney’s name or Disney-owned intellectual property.
- The Walt Disney Company, and each of their respective parent, affiliates, and subsidiaries are not responsible for the promotion, administration or execution of the Promotion. The Walt Disney Company is not the Promoter or an administrator or sponsor of the Promotion The Walt Disney Company, its parent, related, affiliated and subsidiary entities and their respective officers, directors, agents, employees and assigns shall be released and discharged from any and all legal claims, losses, injuries, illnesses, demands, damages, actions, and/or causes of actions that arise out of and/or are in any way related to the Promotion the receipt, use and/or enjoyment of the Prize Package..
- The prize available as part of this Promotion Event (the “Prize Package”) is as follows and shall be subject to third party terms and conditions:
- Promotion Period and Notification
- The Promotion will open for entries on Saturday 22nd April 2023 at 00.01 and shall close on Thursday 4th May at 23.55 (“Promotion Period”). Entries received after the Promotion Period has closed will automatically be disqualified.
- The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries that are delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
- The winner will be chosen by a random draw performed by a computer process on Friday 5th May 2023 (“Draw Date”).
- The winner will be notified by email or telephone, using the contact details provided on their entry form, within three (3) working days of the conclusion of the Promotion Period and must respond to the notification to claim their Prize Package within 72 hours. Failure to do this will result in the Prize Package being forfeited and the Promoter may in its absolute discretion award the Prize Package to a reserve winner selected at the same time as the original winner or dispose of the Prize Package in its discretion without liability to the winner.
- The Prize Package shall be awarded to the winner within three (3) working days upon receipt of any additional details required to transfer the Prize Package to the winner.
5. General
- The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
- The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any typographical or other error in the administration of the Promotion, errors in processing entries, identifying the winner, announcing the winner or the delivery of the Promotion.
- Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon participation in the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse participation in the Promotion to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
- The Promoter reserves the right to modify and amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time during the Promotion Period.
- The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms and Conditions will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision or part thereof. In the event that any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions, or parts thereof, will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Promoter’s failure to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions will not constitute a waiver of that term or any other provision of these Terms and Conditions.
- In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in the Promotion–related materials and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail, govern and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion.
- Third Party terms shall apply to this Promotion.
- Promoter and its agents do not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Promotion or as a result of accepting the Prize Package or any element of the Prize Package. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents and Disney+ are not liable or responsible for any injury, loss or damage to persons or property arising from or caused by the weather, acts of God, war, accident, pandemic or epidemic and any related government action or any other government restrictions or regulations, or from an act or omission of any individual or condition beyond its control. If delivery of any of the Prize Package elements is delayed or is not able to be delivered due to COVID 19, the winners will be notified by the Promoter as soon as possible.
- Personal data supplied during the course of this Promotion to the Promoter will be processed as set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. The winner(s) full name, contact number and email address will be shared with Disney+ service provider Performance Entertainment Limited for the purposes of fulfilling the Prize Package. - The terms and conditions of this Promotion, and any disputes arising therefrom, shall be subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts
