The following terms and conditions will apply to Uber One x ODEON voucher codes promotion
Between 27-28 May 2023, we’re giving Uber One members the chance to win x2 ODEON voucher codes, which can be redeemed for standard adult 2D cinema tickets.
Prize Promotion Terms and Conditions:
READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING. YOU WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THEM WHEN PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROMOTION. AMONG OTHER THINGS, THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS INCLUDE LIMITATIONS OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES.
- The Promoter
- The Promoter of this Promotion is Uber Eats (UK), a company registered under the laws of England and Wales (registration number: 10078453) whose registered address is First Floor, Aldgate Tower, 2 Leman Street, London, United Kingdom, E1 8FA.
- Eligibility and Participation
- The following terms and conditions shall exclusively apply to this Uber One x ODEON cinema tickets giveaway (the “Promotion”) within the U.K. for the duration of the Promotion Period.
- The Promotion is open to all U.K. residents aged 18 years or over who are valid members of Uber One in the U.K. at the time of entry. Proof of age and/or identity and/or residency may be required.
- Winner and their guest must be aged 18 or over.
- To enter the Promotion you must:
- Enter by opting-in via the email received during the Promotion Period. One entry allowed per person. The email will be sent to the email address associated with your Uber One account.
3. Promotion Details
- The prize available as part of this Promotion will be two voucher codes which shall enable the winner to access two adult 2D cinema tickets for use in participating ODEON movie theaters (the “Prize”).
- Each voucher code of the Prize can be redeemed for one standard adult 2D cinema ticket. Upgrades are payable for other film formats and seat types (see below). If you book online (including via the myODEON app), the cinema ticket redeemed using the voucher code will not incur an online booking fee. An online booking fee will apply for any additional full price tickets in the same transaction.
- Each voucher code of the Prize is not valid on 3D; IMAX; ISENSE; Gallery; Dolby; DBox; Premier seats or any other premium priced seat, unless you pay an upgrade fee. The upgrade fees vary per cinema.
- Each voucher code of the Prize is valid for adult tickets only and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for a kids’ cinema ticket.
- Each voucher code of the Prize is valid on screenings up to and including the expiry date allocated.
- Each voucher code of the Prize can be redeemed in participating cinemas at the ticket kiosk or online (including via the myODEON app), subject to availability and any other Issuer restrictions.
- Use of the Prize will be subject to ticket availability and third party terms and conditions.
- Each voucher code of the Prize is not valid on ODEON Event Cinema or ODEON Screen Unseen.
- Each voucher code of the Prize is not valid on premieres, special events or screenings or events not open to the public.
- Each voucher code of the Prize is valid at all ODEON cinemas in the UK except ODEON Luxe Leicester Square and ODEON Luxe & Dine Islington, which are both excluded.
- Each voucher code of the Prize can only be used once. A voucher code cannot be re-instated or replaced once redeemed (this includes if you cancel your booking).
- Each voucher code of the Prize is valid for 1 adult.
- Each voucher code of the Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
- Each voucher code cannot be used with any cinema ticket bundles that include food and drink.
- Each voucher code of the Prize cannot be used in conjunction with a myLIMITLESS card.
- Each voucher code of the Prize is for your personal use only and cannot be resold or reallocated in any transactional manner.
- Each voucher code of the Prize cannot be used to buy 3D glasses, gift cards or gift vouchers, food, drink, or any other Issuer goods or services.
- Each voucher code of the Prize are subject to availability, normal age restrictions and any other relevant standard terms including ODEON’s general admission terms. ID may be required.
- The Issuer of the voucher codes of the Prize reserves the right to amend, terminate or temporarily suspend the use and/or redemption of voucher codes if, in its absolute discretion, it considers it necessary to do so due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.
- The Issuer of the voucher codes of the Prize is as follows: Odeon Cinemas Limited, 8th Floor, 1 Stephen Street, London W1T 1AN.
- Promotion Period and Notification
- The Promotion will open for entries from May 27th 2023 at 00.01 and shall close on May 28th 2023 at 23.55 (“Promotion Period”). Entries received after the Promotion Period has closed will automatically be disqualified.
- The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries that are delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
- The winners will be chosen from the first 32,500 entrants to have applied to take part in the Promotion by a draw performed by a computer process on Wednesday 31st May 2023 (“Draw Date”).
- The winners will be notified by email, using the email address associated with their Uber account, within three working (3) days of the conclusion of the Promotion Period.
- The codes will be awarded in the form of digital vouchers, sent via email, to the winners within three (3) working days subject to the receipt of any additional details required to transfer the Prize to the winner.
- General
- The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
- The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any typographical or other error in the administration of the Promotion, errors in processing entries, identifying winners or the delivery of the Promotion.
- Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon participation in the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse participation in the Promotion to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
- The Promoter reserves the right to modify and amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time during the Promotion Period.
- The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms and Conditions will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision or part thereof. In the event that any provision, or part thereof, of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions, or parts thereof, will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Promoter’s failure to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions will not constitute a waiver of that term or any other provision of these Terms and Conditions.
- In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in the Promotion–related materials and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail, govern and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion.
- Third Party terms shall apply to this Promotion:
- Winner and their guest acknowledge and agree that they are subject to the full terms and conditions of Issuer (ODEON) cinemas. If a ticket is declared void or if a ticket holder is refused admission or removed from the Promotion because of a breach of the Issuer Terms and Conditions or breach of the terms and conditions of the Issuer cinema venue, no money shall be refunded.
- Winner acknowledges and agrees that they are subject to the full terms and conditions of the tickets which form part of the Prize, which can be viewed at www.odeon.co.uk (“Ticket Terms and Conditions). The Ticket Terms and Conditions are subject to change from time to time and may include the requirement for ticket holders to present valid photo ID (passport or driving licence) upon entry to the film selected by winner when using a voucher code of the Prize. The voucher codes as part of the Prize are personal to the winner and the sale or offering for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of any voucher codes is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace). Failure to comply with any of the Prize Terms and Conditions may result in refused entry, or the winner being required to leave the cinema.
- Promoter, its agents and Issuer (ODEON) cinemas do not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Promotion or as a result of accepting the Prize. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents and ODEON cinemas are not liable or responsible for any injury, loss or damage to persons or property arising from or caused by the weather, acts of God, war, accident, pandemic or epidemic and any related government action or any other government restrictions or regulations, or from an act or omission of any individual or condition beyond its control. If delivery of of the Prize is delayed or is not able to be delivered due to COVID 19, the winner will be notified by the Promoter as soon as possible.
- Personal data supplied during the course of this Promotion to the Promoter will be processed as set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
- The terms and conditions of this Promotion, and any disputes arising therefrom, shall be subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
