Drivers have been given the same steps to ensure rides with Uber are as safe as possible. Uber is also providing drivers with free PPE kits which include hand sanitisers and face coverings, and are asking drivers to disinfect their cars between trips, paying special attention to areas where riders sit and touch, like the car door, handle, seat belt, and seat.
