How to play and get offers?
- Embark on a hunt to locate the signature Uber Taxi journey line pop-ups
- Open the AR filter on Instagram, or manually search for the ‘Uber Taxi HK’ AR filter
- Open the AR filter and target to scan the words ‘Uber Taxi’ on the journey line pop-up (Tip: Before scanning, make sure you stop at a safe spot)
- Start the mini game and follow the instructions to get an Uber Taxi promo code. To enjoy the HK$50 offer (quota: 8,000) for your next Uber Taxi trip, open Uber app and enter the code.
- The first 100 riders who have applied the code and completed an Uber Taxi ride will be eligible to redeem an extra HKD 1,000 worth of Uber Taxi promo code.

*Promotion Terms and Conditions：
The use of the Uber Taxi AR filer and participation in the mini game or otherwise accessing the Offer indicates that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by all the following terms and conditions:
Tier 1: HKD50 Uber Taxi promo (Quota: 8,000):
- The promotion period is from 1 December 2023 until 20 December 2023 (“Promotion Period”).
- During the Promotion Period, each eligible rider that successfully completes the Uber Taxi AR filter mini game (“Participant”) may receive a promo code (“Tier 1 Promo Code”) at the completion of the game.
- The first 8,000 Tier 1 Promo Codes that were successfully applied to a Participant’s Uber account (“Tier 1 Quota”) will entitle the Participant to up to HK$50 discount on one (1) Uber Taxi trip (excluding Metered Taxi trip) in Hong Kong (“Tier 1 Offer”). The maximum discount to be applied for an eligible trip is capped at HK$50. Any excess amount charged for the trip shall be paid by the Uber App user. Any balance of the HK$50 promo amount is immediately forfeited after payment.
- The Tier 1 Promo Codes are valid from 1 December 2023 until 31 December 2023 (“Tier 1 Offer Period”).
- The Tier 1 Offer is subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the Tier 1 Quota is fulfilled, the Tier 1 Promo Codes will cease to be redeemable for the Tier 1 Offer. Whether a Tier 1 Promo Code is within the Tier 1 Quota is decided according to the time the Tier 1 Promo Code is successfully applied to the Participant’s Uber account.
- Each Tier 1 Promo Code can only be used by the relevant Participant and is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. No one should copy, screenshot, forward, share or publish any Tier 1 Promo Code without prior consent from Uber.
- Each eligible Participant will only be able to enjoy the Tier 1 Offer up to once.
- Tier 1 Offer is not applicable to trips with cash payment method.
- The Tier 1 Promo Code must be entered before starting the trip.
- The Tier 1 Promo Code shall not be valid unless both the start and finish time of the trip are within the Tier 1 Offer Period and when the trip is entirely within Hong Kong.
- Only one promo code can be used for each trip. If you have entered multiple promo codes into the Uber App and these are all applicable for the trip, the valid promo code with the highest value will be applied first.
- Users may only have one Uber account. If Uber has reasonable grounds to suspect that a user is creating fraudulent accounts or violating these terms and conditions and/or the Uber Community Guidelines, Uber may suspend the user account, and/or revoke the user’s access to or ability to redeem the Tier 1 Promo Code and Tier 1 Offer.
- Other terms and conditions, including the General Terms of Use, may apply to this promotion.
- Any and all questions related to the trip shall be reported to Uber via the Uber App.
- Uber has the sole right to modify, cancel, revoke or terminate the Tier 1 Offer and the Tier 1 Promo Codes and to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notification to the Uber App user or the Participant. In case of any disputes, Uber reserves the right of final decision.
- If there is any discrepancy of the English and the Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.
Tier 2: Extra HKD1,000 Uber Taxi promo (Quota: 100)
- The promotion period is from 1 December 2023 2023 until 20 December 2023 (“Promotion Period”).
- Participants must apply the Tier 1 Promo Code obtained from the mini game and complete an Uber Taxi trip to be eligible for entering Tier 2 of the promotion.
- The first 100 Participants (“Tier 2 Quota”) who fulfilled the above requirements are eligible to receive ten (10) HK$100 Uber Taxi (excluding Metered Taxi) promo codes (each a “Tier 2 Promo Code”, and this offer is “Tier 2 Offer”). The maximum discount of each Tier 2 Promo Code to be applied for an eligible trip is capped at HK$100. Any excess amount charged for the trip shall be paid by the Uber App user. Any balance of the HK$100 promo amount is immediately forfeited after payment.
- The Tier 2 Offer and Tier 2 Promo Codes are valid from 1 December 2023 until 31 January 2024 (“Tier 2 Offer Period”).
- The Tier 2 Offer is subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the Tier 2 Quota is fulfilled, no further Tier 2 Offer will be granted. Whether a Participant is within the Tier 2 Quota is decided according to the time an eligible trip is completed with the Tier 1 Promo Code by the Participant.
- Each Tier 2 Promo Code can only be used by the relevant Participant and is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. No one should copy, screenshot, forward, share or publish any Tier 2 Promo Codes without prior consent from Uber.
