UberHIRE is a new kind of time-based Uber that’s available on-demand, to let you explore and travel around cities knowing that your Uber will wait for you. It’s perfect for travellers exploring a new city, senior citizens who need to make trips punctuated with multiple stop overs, or for business travellers who have multiple meetings – while ensuring it is an economical option for everyone.
In order for you to unlock UberHIRE, all you need to is add the promo code HIREBLR to unlock this view, where you can keep your Uber for as long as you like!
You can now have your Uber waiting for you, wherever you go at just ₹549 (for the first 40 kms or for the first 2 hours) and Rs.13 per kilometre thereafter.

Here is what the fare structure looks like:
UberHire Fare Structure:
- Base Fare: ₹199
- Per km price (upto 40 kms): 0
- Per km price (above 40 kms): ₹13 / km
- Time charges per minute: ₹3 / minute (starting from the 1st minute)
- Minimum fare: ₹549 (This is the lowest that you would have to pay no matter the distance or time)
- Cancellation charges: ₹100, if you cancel after 5 minutes of booking
- Price would be INCLUSIVE of all taxes
- Dynamic pricing is NOT APPLICABLE
- Available on cash only
- All fares on UberHIRE will be within Karnataka Government prescribed fare rates.

Q: Are the city limits different for UberHIRE?
A: The city limits remain the same as it is for uberGO, X and XL across Bangalore.
Q: When do I pay the driver partner?
A: You can pay your driver partner the minimum fare ( ie ₹549) as soon as your ride starts. The balance amount, if any can be paid in cash once you complete your ride (ie final fare – minimum fare).
Q: Is the fuel charge taken care of?
A:Yes – we don’t charge extra for fuel.
Q: Is it a 24/7 available product?
A: No, this will initially be available between 6 am-10 pm only.
Q: How much does an UberHIRE cost?
A: UberHIRE will be available for a minimum price of ₹549 for 2 hours (for the first 40 kms) and Rs.13 per kilometre thereafter.
Q: How do I pay for tolls?
A: Toll charges (if applicable) will be collected at the end of your trip, and will reflect in your final fare. This can be paid to your driver partner directly in cash.
Q: What are the cancellation charges?
A: You can cancel your car within 5 minutes of booking (just like you can, in other views like uberGo, Pool, X or XL). Post that ₹100 would be charged.
Q: Can I schedule UberHIRE?
A: Currently, you will not be able to schedule a UberHIRE ride.
