Cancellations can be frustrating for riders and driver partners alike. Therefore, in order to ensure that driver partners are fairly compensated for their time when committing to a trip, we have ensured that a cancellation fee is in place.
Here is your guide to cancellation charges:
If you cancel within 5 minutes of booking |
|
If you cancel after 5 minutes of booking |
|
If you have cancelled multiple cash trips consecutively:
- The cancellation fees for the multiple trips will accumulate as arrears and prevent any more requests from going through.
- In such cases, you can clear the arrears using an alternative payment method such as a credit or debit card.
- Once the payments in arrears have been cleared, you will be able to request for your Uber
Cash Cancellation Fees:
uberPOOL: ₹60
uberGO: ₹60
uberX: ₹90
UberXL: ₹100
UberHIRE: ₹100
*A service tax of 6% is applicable on the cancellation fee
#Protip: If you feel that a cancellation fee has been unfairly charged, please use the in-app Help feature (from the menu located on the top left corner of the Uber app) to bring the particular trip to our attention.
