UberHIRE is a new kind of Uber that allows you to request a car on-demand for 1 hour and extend all the way up to 12 hours–so you can explore Mumbai knowing that your Uber will wait, irrespective of the distance traveled or number of stops on the way. It’s the perfect economical and convenient ride option for travellers exploring a new city, senior citizens who need to make trips punctuated with multiple stop overs, or business travellers who have multiple meetings.
Here is the breakdown of our revised fare structure:

How this works:
- Open the Uber app
- Slide over to the UberHIRE vehicle option
- Enter your pick-up location and hit request
- UberHIRE is available only with cash or your Uber for Business payment method
- Your fare will be calculated at the end of the ride

Do I need to enter a destination?
- No, you do not need to enter a destination. However, if you do, you can decide to update the destination later.
Are the city limits different for UberHIRE?
- The city limits remain the same as uberGO and uberX. Ie. Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Vashi, Mira Bhayandar.
Is it a 24/7 available product?
- Yes, you can request an UberHIRE whenever you want.
What are the cancellation charges?
- You can cancel your car without any cost within 5 minutes of booking, post which you will be charged Rs 60.
How do I pay for tolls?
- Tolls will be automatically added to your fare.
Can I schedule UberHIRE?
- Unfortunately, not at the moment.
What type of cars can I expect?
- Only the best sedans such as Maruti Swift Dzire, Toyota Etios and Hyundai Accent.
