Following the tragic attack at 14 Riverside, Westlands on 15 January 2019, we’ve come together to help those affected. We stand ready to support the Nairobi community as we recover from this devastating act, and will be providing free rides to and from selected hospitals if you’d like to donate blood.
Where can I donate?
- Avenue Hospital – 1st Avenue, Parklands
- Kenyatta Hospital – Hospital Road, Upper Hill
- Aga Khan Hospital – 3rd Parklands Avenue
- MP Shah Hospital – Maharaja House, 1 Shivachi Road
- Bomb Blast Site – August 7th Memorial Park
How to redeem your free ride to donate blood:
- Open your Uber app
- Select ‘Payment’ from the in-app Menu
- Scroll down to Promotions
- Tap ‘Add Promo Code/Gift Code’
- Enter the code NBODONATE and tap ADD
- Request a ride as usual and enter one of the above hospital destinations.
Terms & Conditions:
- Free rides to the selected hospitals will be applicable from 8PM, 15 January 2019 – 23:59, 16 January 2019. Requests must be placed within those hours.
- Riders must enter the code NBODONATE to get their next 2 rides free.
- All trips must be taken to/from the following hospitals: Avenue Hospital, Kenyatta Hospital, Mpshah Hospital and MP Shah Hospital.
- Access to and use of the Uber App will be subject to the standard terms and conditions applicable to all riders who use the platform.
