Moving around Nairobi should be quick, affordable and convenient for all, which is why we have introduced uberCHAPCHAP, a third ride option that will exist alongside uberX and UberSELECT.
With uberCHAPCHAP, you can skip the hassle of taking long walks across the city and enjoy the convenience of running a quick errand or going on short trips without breaking your budget. Fares start at Ksh 100 only.
uberCHAPCHAP is currently only available in Nairobi within the service area highlighted on the map below. Therefore, you can only be picked up and dropped off within the service area. We will expand the area when possible to serve even more people.

How do I request a ride?
- Open the Uber app, set your destination within the service area
- Select uberCHAPCHAP at the bottom of the app
- Tap on “confirm uberCHAPCHAP”
- Your uberCHAPCHAP will be on the way

Please remember that demand will be high, so please keep requesting if you do not get an uberCHAPCHAP ride on the first attempt
Don’t see the uberCHAPCHAP option in your Uber app? Don’t worry. Not all riders will have the option available right away, but we’ll be gradually expanding the service area when possible.
