Singulart, an online art gallery, has been using Uber Eats to raise morale and show appreciation for their employees.

Singulart brings original artwork to the digital space by allowing international artists to independently manage the sale of their works through the Singulart website. The team, spread across several countries in Europe, promotes these artists to a global audience.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, all Singulart employees began working from home. To engage the team during lockdown and reward them for developing business during this period, management organised a virtual happy hour with all employees.

Singulart was attracted by the large geographical coverage of Uber Eats and easy access offered to people who used the app. They set up an Uber for Business account and created a meal delivery program to cover the costs of the virtual gathering.

From an administrative point of view, it was easy to set up rules within the Uber for Business dashboard to control the timing and expense limits of Uber Eats orders.

More than 20 employees from France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Italy and Switzerland joined the virtual gathering, which lasted 3 and a half hours. Before the event, they had already linked to their corporate profiles so they could order meals via the Uber Eats app.

The team loved the initiative. It allowed them to get out of their routine during the lockdown and gave them the opportunity to see their colleagues in a fun setting. The entire process of setting up their Uber Eats corporate profiles and ordering meals was easy and possible across multiple countries.

Due to the success and great feedback, another virtual happy hour has been planned while employees are still working from home.
