Introducing Uber Rent: rent cars using the Uber app

At Uber, we want to give you more choices to help you get where you need to go – that’s why we’re trialling Uber Rent, a feature in the app that makes renting a car easy and rewarding.

Uber Rent is being trialed with a limited number of Uber users and cities with plans to expand soon.

When you rent a car using the Uber app, you’ll get rewarded with 10% back in Uber Credit on your car rental. You can use your credit on rides with Uber and orders with Uber Eats.**

As well as earning rewards, you’ll also have access to exclusive discounts in the Uber app from a number of leading rental companies – thanks to our car rental partner, CarTrawler.

Uber is not responsible for the products and/or services offered by CarTrawler or its rental partners, or for the terms and conditions (including financial terms) under which those products and services are offered. Uber will also provide CarTrawler with the data necessary to enable your use of the CarTrawler products and services, including your country residence, currency, and a unique identifier, subject to the Uber Privacy Policy.

**Offer only valid through 31 March 2022, for users who have an Uber account, reside in Australia or New Zealand, and book their rental using Uber Rent. You will receive 10% of your rental spend back in Uber Credit for your completed bookings (rounded to the nearest dollar). Any reference to spend in calculation of Uber Credit earned excludes spend not processed at the time of the original booking. Uber Credit earned will be applied to your account within 30 days after the rental company confirms payment and the vehicle is dropped off at the end of your rental. Uber Credit will expire 6 months from issue date. Uber Credit will be issued in the currency of the country associated with the user’s Uber account and cannot be used in countries with different currencies. Uber Credit cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged or converted to cash. This offer cannot be combined with other offers, is non-transferable, and is subject to change or withdrawal at any time and without notice.
