Elevate your ride—and your fares—with Uber Comfort
We are introducing Uber Comfort, a new ride option offered to riders looking for extra comfort and enhanced on-trip experience that will help you make extra money.

It has been created as a response to the needs of business riders and those who are ready to pay more to enjoy extra comfort and special features. We expect that there will be a lot of interest in the product.

Higher earnings for drivers
A Comfort trip lets you earn 20% more than an equivalent UberX trip in Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj, Craiova, Constanta, Galati, Pitesti, Ploiesti and even 30% more in Iasi and Brasov. For example, a 15RON UberX trip in București will be billed 18RON to the rider on Comfort.


Note: If you’d like to opt-out of Comfort, you can do so in the Driving Preferences section of your application. 

					
				
Enhanced quality for riders
Comfort gives riders newer, mid-sized vehicles with ample legroom and highly rated, experienced drivers.

					
				
Set service preferences
Riders can now choose from three temperature presets, and specify in advance whether they prefer to chat or not, directly from the app.

					
				
Extra paid wait time
Riders can get a little extra time to get to the car – up to 10 minutes – before their ride is cancelled. Similarly to UberX, the first 2 minutes are free of charge, after which a per-minute charge will kick in. You will be compensated if the rider keeps you waiting until the extended wait time ends, and if they still haven’t arrived by then, the trip will automatically cancel and you will be paid a full cancellation fee. This means your riders can start their journey off as stress-free as possible, while compensating you for the wait.

Driver eligibility criteria
Uber Comfort was designed to maximize your earning possibilities on the Uber platform. Drivers meeting both the vehicle (above) and quality requirements (below) are eligible for Comfort and will be automatically enrolled:
You need at least 25 completed trips on Uber platform.
Your rating is at or above 4.85
Note: you can consult your rating in the “Profile” section of your application.
Comfort availability
Riders can book Comfort in Cluj, Craiova, Constanta, Galati, Pitesti, Ploiesti, București, Iași. Timișoara, Brașov.
