Uber Eats Writes New Chapter in Taiwan by Announcing Onshore Business
Written byUber Eats today announced that it is taking a further step to better serve consumers and partners by establishing a local business entity starting February 1. Users on the Eats platform paying by Visa, MasterCard or JCB will now not be subject to overseas credit card handling fees, making the daily purchase of meals and groceries more enjoyable and economical.
With more than 43,000 merchant partners across restaurants, groceries, cosmetics, pet supplies, and flowers islandwide, the time is right for Uber Eats to become more deeply ingrained in the local landscape. For users and businesses, the onshoring offers even greater value in their daily lives.
