Driving on a busy holiday when trip requests are high can be exhilarating. Being aware of the busiest times to drive, our updated safety features, and our in-app tools can help you drive confidently during Halloween week and help increase your earnings.
Best times to drive
We expect the busiest times of the week to be in the evenings on Friday, October 26, through Sunday, October 28, and on Wednesday, October 31 (Halloween).
Find out when it’s busy
The app provides real-time updates on where to find more trips. Just look for Surge on the map, or tap the alert at the bottom of your home screen to be guided to nearby opportunities.
Track your earnings
Use the tracker to see how much money you’ve made after each trip as well as access your detailed daily and weekly earnings summaries. Find the tracker by tapping the fare icon on your map screen, then swiping the tracker icon to explore your earnings.
Keep friends and family in the loop
Your loved ones want to know that you’re safe while you’re on the road. Share Trip lets them follow along in the Uber app to see when you start and end a trip.
Get 24/7 driver support
Our customer support and specially-trained incident response teams are always available to handle questions, concerns, or urgent safety issues. Here’s how to access either team from your Uber app:
- Tap the profile icon in the Driver app.
- Then tap Help.
- Scroll to the bottom to tap Call Support.
If you’re using an older version of the Driver app you’ll need to:
- Tap the profile icon in your Driver app.
- Then tap Help.
- Tap the blue phone icon in the top right of your screen.
