A few months ago, we announced that we’ve partnered with South African Airways to give you the chance to spend your SAA Voyager Miles on Uber rides. Today, we are even more excited to let you know that you can now also redeem your voyager Miles on Uber Eats! Yes – ordering your favourite meal after a long flight just got even easier!

Here’s how to redeem your SAA Voyager Miles for an Uber Gift Voucher:
As a South African Airways Voyager loyalty member, head to www.flysaa.com and login with your Voyager number and PIN
Select the AWARDS option
From here, select Non-Air Awards
Click on Lifestyle Award Type
Select the Uber Rides or Uber Eats option 
You can then select your desired voucher amount: 3000 Miles = R120 worth of Uber rides or Uber Eats
5000 Miles = R200 worth of Uber rides or Uber Eats
12500 Miles = R500 worth of Uber rides or Uber Eats
On the same screen, please enter your name and confirm that the information is correct.
You will then see  a last name confirmation pop-up appear, in which you will be required to click ‘OK’ in order to continue with the redemption process. 
Once done, you will see an award verification screen followed by a confirmation message displaying your Uber promo code.
Finally, you will receive an SMS and email providing more detail on your promo code.
How to enter your Uber Eats voucher code:
Open the Uber Eats app.
Click on the Profile icon on the bottom right-hand corner
Select ‘Promotions’
Click on ‘Add promotion’
Enter your voucher code.
And, enjoy your Uber Eats experience!
The fine print 
(1) Payment using Voyager Miles is only available in South Africa. (2) Uber Voucher Codes are valid for 3 years to use, after being redeemed (3) Uber Awards are non-reversible once issued (4) Cancellations: Should a Voyager member want to cancel the ride after requesting, Uber’s cancellation policy will apply, available on https://www.uber.com. Uber will credit the member with voucher amount in their profile for next usage (5) There is no limit on the amount of Voyager Miles to be used for Uber rides or Eats (6) Uber accept other forms of payments e.g. credit cards / cash and part Miles part cash is acceptable.”

Uber Voucher Codes are valid for 3 years to use, after being redeemed.
