About the Team

We're looking for a data scientist to join our Core Services Data Science team to provide data expertise as we work to make this world a safer place to move around.

This is a cross-functional role within a global team that will work closely with product management, safety operations, engineering, and partner data teams. The work has a global scope, with different cultural and regional aspects considered for each of the studies.

What You’ll Do
  • Statistical Experimentation: Plan, Design and Analyze A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies to measure the impact of product features and initiatives, ensuring data quality, accurate measurements and statistical rigor.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Conduct exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and build solutions to uncover actionable insights that will inform business strategies and product improvements.
  • Collaborationc with Stakeholders: Partner with key stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities to leverage data to drive business solutions, and present complex findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels, translating technical analyses into strategic recommendations.
  • Product Analytics: Work closely with product teams to define metrics, monitor key performance indicators, and provide data-driven recommendations that improve operational efficiency and process governance.
  • Data Quality: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and maintain data pipelines and dashboards that enable scalable analysis and reporting across the organization.
What You’ll Need
  • Experience: Senior experience as a Data Scientist / Advanced Data Analytics, with a strong foundation in A/B testing and statistical experimentation;
  • Avanced proficiency in SQL is essential;
  • Familiarity with Python, and big data tools like Spark is desirable;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders;
  • Ability and experience in extracting insights from data, and summarizing findings/takeaways;
  • Experience with Dashboarding and Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker or similar
  • Advanced English skills.
