This week starts the countdown to one of New Orleans’ most exciting annual sporting events. The Bayou Classic is about more than just football – the historic rivalry game between Grambling State University and Southern University dates back to 1936, and is the longest running game and rivalry in historically black college football. Today, Bayou Classic is synonymous with Thanksgiving tradition in New Orleans, bringing students, alumni, families, and fans together to celebrate (and get a little competitive).

We’re looking forward to a packed calendar of Bayou Classic events this week – including the Thanksgiving Day Parade, Battle of the Bands and Greek Show, and of course, the Big Game.

Winner Announced: 12:00 pm on November 24, 2015
Eligibility Requirements: Entrants must be 18 or older and reside in the state of Louisiana.
Method of Entry: Enter the promo code “BAYOUSWEEPS” in your Uber App and then complete a ride requested via the Uber mobile application during the Sweepstakes Period to generate one (1) entry. Entrants may also choose to enter by sending an email to [email protected]. Email entries must include the Sweepstake Name in the subject line and they must include entrant’s name, address, and email address in the body of the email. Each valid email equals one (1) entry. There is a maximum of one (1) entry per entrant.
Prize and Approximate Retail Value: Winner will receive two (2) VIP tickets to the Bayou Classic in New Orleans, LA on November 28, 2015 and a promotional code valid for up to $30 off of up to two (2) rides requested and completed via the Uber App. The total approximate retail value of the Prize is $210.
How Winners are Selected: Winner will be selected at random following the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
