Women in the driver’s seat
We want to enable more women to earn on their own schedule
Making Uber the most accessible platform for women earners globally
Being on the road with the Uber app means flexible working, plus the support you need. Unlock the opportunities that enable women to drive with the Uber app, and feel secure with help from our safety features.
Breaking barriers for women drivers
57% of women say costs, difficulty getting licensed, and vehicle availability are obstacles to joining the Uber platform. We want to change that. We’ll be launching ambitious programs to support obtaining licences, as well as savings on vehicle access. Whether the Uber platform is a way to create an income or fund a dream – we’ll help you get there.
Women driver communities
We are rolling out dedicated forums for you! These will be communities where women drivers can connect, receive top tips, and share experiences and learnings.
Standing for safety
Your safety is a priority. We’ve developed in-app emergency assistance, 24/7 incident support, as well as ‘Follow My Ride’. We also offer free Partner Protection insurance through Allianz across selected European countries
