What is Shop & Deliver?
Shop & Deliver gives you another opportunity to maximize your earning potential by shopping and paying for your customer in-store. To get started, you’ll first need to sign up for Shop & Deliver orders. Once you enter your Plus Card number into the Driver App, you’ll start receiving Shop & Deliver orders.

Getting started is easy
Step 1: Sign up
Sign up for Shop & Deliver by tapping here (make sure you have the latest version of Uber’s Driver app downloaded).
Step 2: Activate Shop & Deliver
Activate it by following the step-by-step instructions.
Step 3: Complete an order
Accept requests for Shop & Deliver orders as you please, and take more control over your earnings. You can easily pay with your Plus Card, or if you choose, you can use your own card and get reimbursed after.
*The Plus Card is issued and shipped by a third party payments company. Your use of the Plus Card is entirely optional. You may choose to pay for Shop & Deliver trips using your own personal payment method and then seek reimbursement through the Driver App. If you choose to use the Plus Card, it may be used only to pay for items pre-approved by a consumer who has requested you pick, pay for, and deliver the items. The Plus Card will be authorized for payment only up to the expected order total for each shopping trip.

- How do I become a Shop & Deliver shopper?
To become a Shop & Deliver shopper, you first need to activate Shop & Deliver orders using the steps mentioned above, including entering the Plus Card number into the app. Once it’s activated, you’ll start receiving Shop & Deliver orders in your Driver app.
- How does Shop & Deliver work?
Once you accept a Shop & Deliver order through the Driver app, the order details will show you a specified store to select and pack the items requested by your customer. Then, you’ll pay at the checkout and deliver the items to your customer. You can also use your own card at checkout and get reimbursed, or you can use the Plus Card for convenience.
- How are shoppers paid?
Your earnings will show up in your Earnings Statement, similar to other jobs on the Driver app (such as driving and delivering). You can access your Earnings Statement by going to the Earnings section of your in-app menu.
- Can I choose to receive Shop & Deliver order requests exclusively?
No, not at this time. You will receive Shop & Deliver orders the same way you receive other delivery orders. To differentiate, the order will be labeled as “Shop & Deliver” on your screen. You can always decline a Shop & Deliver request for any reason.
- What type of stores will I go to with Shop & Deliver orders?
Shop & Deliver orders can include grocery stores (such as Longos) as well as convenience stores (such as Dollarama).
- What do I do if I lose my Plus Card?
If you lose your Plus Card, you can request a new one here.
