Product Manager, Uber One Member Retention

Product Management, Product
in San Francisco, California

About the Role

Uber has grown from “push a button and get a ride” to a way that users can “go anywhere and get anything” in their local city. The Uber One Membership team aims to make interacting with your city, and using all of Uber’s services, as convenient and sticky as possible. We’ve built Uber One members to greater than 20M and counting, but have still only scratched the surface of what a global Membership program could do for Uber. Come build with us!

As the PM for Uber One, you'll be crucial in driving higher engagement and retention of our member base. Your role will focus on optimizing our discounts and pricing structures to add more value to our members. By leveraging data-driven insights and implementing targeted strategies, you'll drive growth and long-term loyalty from members.

This role is a great fit for a PM who is excited to optimize member experiences with a compelling UX and collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously refine our engagement and retention efforts.

What You'll Do

  • You'll launch features that drive engagement & reduce churn across the UberEats app, Uber Rides app, and out-of-app communication channels.
  • You will define, own, and execute the product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional counterparts (Engineering, Data Science, Design, Operations, and more)..

Basic Qualifications

  • Product Experience: 2+ years of product management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them - and you're deeply proud of what you've accomplished.
  • Leadership Experience: Prior experience setting and delivering on a strategy you crafted, working with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and partners, while being accountable for outcomes.
  • Data chops: You find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to use this data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.
  • Technical chops: you have collaborated with engineers in developing the technical architecture of the products you have built, and are comfortable discussing requirement and scope tradeoffs.
  • Strategic: You can craft a coherent product vision, multi-year strategy, and quarterly roadmap that your team and the business rallies behind.
  • Business-minded: You are passionate about building businesses, not features. You not only own the user metrics but also own and optimize business performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on marketplace products and/or ML consumer facing models.
  • Experience launching products across global markets.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$149,000 per year - USD$165,500 per year.

You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits. More details can be found at the following link https://www.uber.com/careers/benefits.
