Enterprise Account Executive, Uber for Business

Since our launch in the Japan market back in 2021, we’ve been on a mission to create an Uber community within business organizations leveraging both Uber Eats and Rides. 2024 brings a new chapter of U4B Japan which has many interesting problems to solve from unlocking street hailing opportunities in Rides to handling one time large volume Eats orders. Now is the time to #GoGetIt as a member of a once-in-a-generation company.

About the Team

In Uber for Business, we're simplifying the way businesses move. Our sales team builds strong relationships with our clients, stickiness to our platform and helps them build successful eats and travel programs within their organization as well as for their guests / customers.

Your Impact in Role

  • Close enterprise level prospect's deal and drive top-line
  • Manage long-term relationship and ensure for healthy business engagement with all key clients
  • Create new business opportunity with prospects
  • Report key KPIs and sales status via CRM or other internal tool

The Experience You'll Bring

  • Minimum 7 years+ B2B value selling based sales experience
  • Experience working in fast & ambiguity work environment
  • Outstanding communication skill, supported by fluency in Japanese and business level+ in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales experience towards back-office clients (e.g. HR, Accounting / Finance)
  • Strong IT / DX knowlage, previous working experience at SaaS domain is plus
  • Strong business acumen, including market knowlage and ability to lead and manage complex legal / contractual discussion

Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber’s cultural identity. Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office. For certain roles, such as those based at green-light hubs, employees are expected to be in-office for 100% of their time.
