EMEA Rider Operations - Central Operations Manager

About the Role

Be a part of the team accountable for translating Uber’s mobility strategy to real life execution in EMEA. Through metrics monitoring, ad-hoc experience improvements, growth mindset and being hands-on, drive our Venues use case to higher penetration and growth rates.

What the Candidate Will Do:

  • Improve venues experience - You will be responsible for consumer experience across all top venues in EMEA, from the moment they open the app until their trip is completed.
  • Grow venues awareness - You will be the owner of venues growth, from marketing to partnerships and incentives, you will need to prioritize and execute key growth strategies to drive impact.
  • Work with a first-class team - You will work closely with product, regions, marketing and support to align initiatives that optimize and create a best-in-class experience for rider's and driver's.
  • Solve complex problems- You will monitor and analyze venues performance and marketplace metrics and draw conclusions to implement potential actions and trouble-shoot potential problems.
  • Keep customers top of mind - You will be customer-obsessed - Understanding potential pain-points and opportunities-to-delight customers (by analyzing internal and external data) will be key to ensure you exceed our riders expectations and deliver a magical customer experience.
  • Coordinate different stakeholders - You will produce high impact materials. You will develop high impact presentations, drawing recommendations and presenting results to stakeholders and high-level management.
  • Execute in a fast paced environment - You will address operational needs to ensure an efficient go-to-market for initiatives, support implementations, test-fail-reiterate, etc.

What the Candidate Will Need / Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, both internally and externally
  • Ability to lead a cross-functional team
  • Proven ability to prioritize work strategically and execute on objectives
  • Analytical mindset: Analytical skills and data-driven decision making. SQL knowledge is a must have

  • Problem solving and troubleshooting marketplace health metrics
  • Product sense. You know what makes a product experience not just good, but amazing. You work cross-functionally with teams to create partner integrations that delight users and drive measurable impact

Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber’s cultural identity.
